Chapter 421 Appear Before Me In Three Minutes
Nathan and Penny frowned at these words.
Ferlyn Smith was much more vocal. "What do you mean? What kind of service is this?" she raged.
The tea specialist, Yvonne Lou, said with her chin up, "These are our rules. If you can't afford good tea,
you'll have to sit right outside the bathroom. Why are you acting like a queen when you're so broke?”
Ferlyn was beyond livid. "It's all your fault," she said to Penny. "Why did you order such cheap tea?
You're embarrassing me."
After berating Penny and Nathan, she then declared to the tea specialist, "I want a pot of your finest tea
—the kind that costs ten grand a pot!"
Yvonne was elated. "Really?"
"Of course," Ferlyn said smugly. "This table's too small for four people. Have them sit somewhere else."
The tea specialist nodded fervently with a smile. "Certainly."
Then, she turned to Nathan and Penny with a straight face. "Please move to one of the tables outside
the bathroom. You can pick whichever you want."
Penny was furious, but Nathan asked calmly, "Why do we have to give up our seats? We were here
first."
"That's because they ordered the most expensive tea," Yvonne retorted. "You, on the other hand,
chose the cheapest one. Naturally, they deserve a better table."
Ferlyn and Theodore smirked at Nathan and Penny with glee.
Nathan remained calm. "Is ten grand for a pot of tea the most expensive thing you have on the menu? I
thought it costs more to have your boss, Mary Sharp, brew someone's tea."
Everyone's eyes widened.
Yvonne laughed coldly. "Of course. The tea Ms. Sharp brews costs the most. In fact, she only does it
for the most distinguished guests. Unfortunately, few in Channing have the privilege of drinking
something brewed by her personally. Even the mayor could only dream of this experience. Who do you
think you are? You ordered the cheapest pot of tea. You're clearly broke, but you're thinking of getting
my boss to brew you some tea?"
"Is Mary Sharp's tea really that incredible?" Nathan asked with a smile.
"Of course it is," Yvonne scoffed. "Every bigwig in Channing who has tried Ms. Sharp's tea is proud to
have done so."
With a nod, Nathan took out his phone and made a call. "I'm Nathan Cross. I want Mary Sharp to
appear before me in three minutes. I want her to brew me some tea!”
Everyone was taken aback by Nathan's words.
Yvonne, Ferlyn, Theodore and the other guests stared at him in shock.
Have the owner of Ivory Teahouse show up in three minutes to brew this guy some tea? Not even the
mayor could do that!
Because of her prominent family history, no ordinary big shot could afford to get on her nasty side.
Nathan's always lived off the Smiths, and now he wants Mary Sharp to come over within three
minutes? Coոtent of Drаmаոovels.cоm
away, or I'll have security kick you out."
