Scars Of A Broken Bond -

Everyone looked at William.
“There was a misunderstanding a while back. She’s left Saleel Studio.”
William immediately turned to Blayze and added, “She got the job through an interview and didn’tcontact me. I just found out that she is your friend.”
Then, William glanced at Keilani and wanted to say something but stopped on a second thought.
“There’s no need to create so much fuss. Isn’t it normal to quit if you can’t handle it?” Keilani snorted. She shifted all the blame on Bella. Bella was always poking her nose where it didn’t belong. Bella musthave brought the issue of Sabrina’s new job up on purpose.
Blayze followed William’s gaze to Keilani. Idly playing with his glass, he asked coolly, “Whatmisunderstanding?”
“That day, Sabrina was entrusted with shooting for Keilani, but Keilani’s necklace vanished…” Williambriefly detailed.
William didn’t twist the truth. Sabrina’s departure from her role signaled a deeper grievance, a threadhe couldn’t dismiss lightly.
He tactfully hid the fact that Keilani purposefully bullied Sabrina, the necklace making it look like a meresimple misunderstanding.
“I see. William, as the studio’s helmsman, you can’t sweep this under the rug. The team’s morale takesa hit with an incident like this.
You’re meant to be your employees’ shield in such situations. Besides, you and Blayze go way back.Unintentional or not, you’ve placed Blayze in an uncomfortable spot in front of Sabrina!” Grinning,
Collen said as he leaned casually against the back of the chair.
“So, Keilani never offered an apology in the end? That’s hardly acceptable! How could she evadeaccountability for wronging Sabrina? a friend chimed in.
“I never intended for this outcome. I never anticipated her resignation in such a fury! Besides, she’salready secured a new job.
Why dig up ancient history?” Keilani retorted confidently, a hint of pout in her tone.
The room fell silent.
Everyone present knew Keilani was the daughter of the esteemed Wilsons, answerable only to her kinand Lance.
But could her parents or Lance intervene on Sabrina’s behalf?
“Perhaps it’s best to let bygones be bygones. The die is cast.
Besides, ruminating over it is futile. Fortunately, Sabrina’s found her footing elsewhere. If it still eats atyou, ask William to compensate Sabrina with money,” suggested another friend.
Blayze stayed silent, his gaze darkening as he scrutinized William and Keilani.
“I erred. I owe Sabrina an apology,” William reflected.
“Apologize? To whom?” At that moment, Lance walked in, settling back in his seat with casualnonchalance, inquiring.
“To Sabrina,” Blayze asserted.
“What happened?” Lance asked. He froze at the mention of Sabrina’s name, his gaze shifting fromBlayze to William.
