Seduced by My Childhood Sweetheart’s Brother -
Chapter 614
If that person were Felix, I would rather be alone for the rest of my life than seduce him.
Besides, I had my wonderful boyfriend, Colin. How could I fall in love with Felix again? I'd only lose more than I gain.
I wouldn't do such a stupid thing. And I would never accept Lilac's slanderous accusation against me.
I gathered strength and wanted to slap her face to make her shut her stinky mouth, which was spouting rubbish.
However, the pool of blood under her body was so striking that I came to a halt.
My eyes stung as I remembered Queenie lying lifeless in a pool of blood.
Lilac was hateful and deserved a lesson, but her life was at stake. I couldn't ignore her.
I looked at Colin. He was putting away the phone, nodding and assuring me that he had called an ambulance.
The ambulance arrived soon. After carrying Lilac, the doctor asked us who was following.
Felix entered the ambulance silently. Hannah wanted to follow but didn't dare, so she held my hand firmly.
I reluctantly followed and got into the ambulance. When Colin saw me getting in, he had no choice but to drive behind the ambulance.
"Colin, it's enough for me to go over there. You can go back and cancel the flight tickets."
"I can cancel the tickets anywhere. I'll accompany you. If something else happens, we can replace a solution in time."
The ambulance whizzed as it left the college under the students' gaze.
"Who is the patient's family? Please pay the fee and complete the procedures to avoid affecting the rescue."
Everyone present turned their attention to Felix. He gloomily took the document from the nurse and processed it.
Colin and I sat on the couch and waited. Hannah sat next to me in fear and kept asking me whether Lilac would die if she bled so much. She claimed that it had nothing to do with her. Lilac was the one who deceived and hit her first. She never touched Lilac throughout the entire process.
Hannah was terrified. To prove her innocence, she swore repeatedly. Her delicate face flushed with anxiety and fear.
I was a little scared, too. Although Lilac was spiteful, her retribution shouldn't lead to death. She only deserved a lesson, not die like this in front of us.
I knew the seriousness of the matter. We should save Lilac.
Hannah kept crying and talking about her innocence and worry. I had no choice but to comfort her.
Colin soon stood up and walked to the side to make a phone call. I had no idea what he said, but it should be about what happened.
More than an hour later, Lilac was moved from the emergency room to a temporary ward.
A few of us followed her into the ward. Colin didn't enter and waited outside.
Lilac was awake. The remaining makeup on her face had been cleaned off. Her face was paler than a ghost. She opened her eyes weakly, and her eyelids were still wet with tears. She looked pitiful, yet I didn't feel pity for her.
Her terrible actions brought this upon her. It was just a pity she accidentally killed her child before he even saw the world.
The nurse was setting up an IV drip for Lilac while nagging, "You are a young lady. You should cherish yourself. The loss of a four-month-old child is harmful to your body.
"The uterine wall is thin. After this miscarriage, it's hard to tell whether you'll have children again. Take good care of yourself, and stop messing around."
