I often heard people complimenting me, and I also knew that I was pretty. But after dressing up, even I was mesmerized by my own beauty in front of the mirror.

I left the bedroom. Sitting on the couch, Colin peered at me, and his eyes froze. Amazement briefly shone in his sparkly eyes before it was replaced by a dark void that threatened to consume me. He stood up and sauntered to me, enthralled.

His eyes were glossy as his fingers touched my cheeks. They traveled downward toward my neck as his thumbs caressed my clavicles. Licking his parched lips, Colin looked like a hungry beast. "You're gorgeous, babe," said Colin in a deep, husky voice. His sound echoed in my ears, allowing me to savor it again and again.

The distance between us continued to shorten. The face that made my heart skip a beat leaned closer, and I saw sparks in his beautiful eyes. I knew what those sparks symbolized. I knew what he wanted. I blushed uncontrollably, and my heart raced.

"I look like this every day. Well, except for the lipstick. I bought it last time when I went shopping. Do you like it?" I pouted my red lips, unaware that this gesture would catalyze the intimate ambiance. I merely wanted to know if he liked the color-or perhaps I wanted to know what he'd do.

The color of his eyes darkened. The sparks grew taller into flame tongues, incinerating everything until two fiery trails were left.

"You look good, babe. You always do. Let's not attend the party, okay?" Colin's voice lowered into a growl.

His hands touched many places, but they couldn't replace their favorite spots. In the end, he pulled me into his embrace as he showered warm kisses on my head. His broad hands coiled around the skin on my nape.

"Why? You're the star tonight. Everyone is waiting for us." I snuggled in his arm and lifted my head. His seductive jawline and Adam's apple were in my view.

I loved the shape of his Adam's apple. I had tried to touch it many times, but he always dodged away. And tonight, I couldn't hold myself back anymore. I reached out and seized it, feeling it as it slid up and down his throat.

Colin's eyes narrowed. The fiery trails in his orbs expanded. Something unfamiliar was threatening to break out of its cage. "Didn't I tell you not to touch my Adam's apple?"

Did he? I couldn't recall a thing.

Right when I was about to ask why I couldn't touch it, a large shadow loomed over me, and my lips met something soft. The pinewood scent swept me off my feet, and I forgot to react. I stared wide-eyed as Colin kissed me deeply.
