In other words, she was implying that a whole bottle of Coke was simply too much for my skinny frame. Therefore, I should pick either truth or dare.

I immediately gave up on the bottle of soda when I saw its size. I had read enough romance novels to know that if I picked dare, I would be pranked. They might ask me to remove the belt of the guy next to me walk backward, or kiss the first guy I saw. I couldn't do that.

Besides, Colin was glaring at me, ready to pounce at me the moment I picked dare. Fine, I would pick the truth.

"So truth it is. Other than your father, who's the first man you fell in love with? What's his name?"

Please. The answer couldn't be any more obvious. Decisively, I answered, "Colin."

Colin looked at me in disbelief, his grip on me tightening. His fingers caressed my hand. Perhaps he was moved by what I said, or perhaps he finally obtained the acknowledgment he had always wanted from me. He was over the moon.

I bent my fingers and scratched his palm to wake him up from his stupor. A smirk slowly appeared on his face. "Thank you, babe. This is the best birthday present I've ever received so far."

In the following round, Hannah obtained the flower bouquet. She picked dare bravely. I supposed the host of the game must have noticed the chemistry she had with Felix because they asked her to confess to a guy at the party. Specifically, the confession had to be cheesy and corny.

It was exactly what Hannah wanted. But making a cheesy confession could be quite challenging. Felix heard Hannah's choice and immediately had a bad feeling. He tried to create some distance between himself and her but failed miserably because everyone was sitting so close to one another.

Hannah found him and grabbed his hands while blushing. Felix was no stranger to unsolicited confessions-he had been confessed to thousands of times in the past year.

Yet, for some reason, Hannah's confession scared him. He blanched. Were he not surrounded by people, he would have fled the scene.

"Felix, I fell in love with you the first time we met, and this feeling has only been growing deeper with time. You're my sky. I want to be embraced by you all the time. You're my sun-you warm me and illuminate the path ahead.

"I love you, Felix. And this love is eternal. Will you return my feelings? I want to be with you forever. I want to follow you around. I want to be your princess, to be spoiled and pampered by you forever. Can you grant my wish?"

Hannah confessed her feelings in one go without stuttering, as if she had already rehearsed it many times in her head. Felix, whose hands were held by Hannah, was initially irritated. Then, his expression turned to shock, then to embarrassment. His lips parted, but the surrounding uproar drowned his voice.

Finally, Felix broke free of Hannah's grip and put his hands back into his pockets. Nonchalance returned to his visage.

"Felix, will you date me?" Hannah probed gingerly like a pet waiting for its master's treat.
