Seduced by My Childhood Sweetheart’s Brother -
Chapter 670
My gaze fell on Colin, and I simpered. Felix was handsome, but no one was more dashing than my Colin. Ever since he came into my heart, all other men in this world lost their charms, no matter how handsome they were. There might be a lot of hot men around, but the only one I loved was Colin.
On a whim, I whipped out my phone and took several photos of Colin. He noticed what I was doing and threw me an affectionate glance. Love was oozing from his eyes.
I wanted to throw myself into his embrace and kiss his starry eyes. But we were in public. I didn't want to embarrass myself. I told myself to be patient and wait until night.
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most handsome of them all?" I wrote this caption and sent the photo to him. Then, I raised my phone at Colin.
He put out his cigarette and looked at his phone. He stared at the photo for a while, allowing me to take in his gorgeous side profile. Then, his fingers quickly composed a reply.
I checked my phone and it said, "Good girl, you shall be rewarded tonight."
Reward? How? I supposed I knew what it would be. Even if I didn't make the move to kiss him tonight, he would give me smooches all over my face. Urgh, Colin was always trying to seduce me.
My face blushed uncontrollably, and I shot Colin a timid look. He pouted and blew me a kiss, which made me even more flustered. I stomped my feet to protest and swerved to the side, dodging his shameless confession.
Colin saw how embarrassed I was and laughed out loud. His voice was so sexy that several women passing by fled while clutching the collars of their dresses. There he was breaking more hearts again! Felix tilted his head and observed our interaction cheekily. Then, he sneered and turned around. I was so mad that I wanted to give him my middle finger. Colin ignored him and typed more messages. He used his brow to beckon me to check my phone.
I unlocked my screen, and the chat window popped up. "Luna, you're my one and only."
Attached with it was a photo I had never seen before. Lincoln University was the background. In the photo, I was wearing a white winter coat and a red scarf. Between my red gloves was a snowball. What a corny line! But that photo...
During the Christmas of my second year at Lincoln University, I woke up to a world blanketed by snow. The wintry breeze sculpted the snow into mounds of various heights and sizes.
As a Southerner, I was obsessed with snow. I got out of bed and went to the window to admire the snow. Then, my phone buzzed. As if he had been monitoring me via surveillance cameras, Colin texted me and said, "Cover yourself. Don't catch a cold. The snow is thick. Let's have a snowball fight later."
Colin must have taken the photo during the fight. I had never seen it, but I remembered the event vividly. My good friends-Eden, Flynn, Queenie, and Julia-were there too.
Colin and I won because of our exceptional teamwork. Queenie and Flynn lost horribly because they were too busy dating instead of fighting. As their punishment, they had to buy everyone dinner that night. Time flew by, and after several years, Eden, adventurous as he was, was nowhere to be seen. Julia found her love. Flynn and Queenie, the ideal couple from back then, broke up. What a shame.
Fortunately for me, Colin and I loved one another more and more with each passing day. I believed that as long as we worked hard together, a happy future awaited us.
That said, why did I have this ominous feeling on this joyous occasion? It felt like something was about to happen. And this premonition was stronger than the one I felt in Crystal House.
