Seduced by My Childhood Sweetheart’s Brother -
Chapter 673
Those brats didn't restrain themselves, heedless of my gender. On the contrary, they were even more excited and wished they could have toast me with a bigger glass. They claimed to be oppressed most of the time, saying it would be a shame to lose their only opportunity for retribution.
However, they didn't know that wine was like flavored water to me. I wouldn't have any reaction other than going to the restroom a few more times.
It wasn't my concern if they couldn't stand toasting.
Colin sat upright, his eyes filled with mist, smiling as he enjoyed my battle with his students. His students would cheer whenever I drank, while he would smile triumphantly.
On the surface, he looked dignified and elegant without losing his composure. However, I knew that he was drunk.
"Enough. Lulu is a lady. How could she manage to drink so much? I'll take her place."
Felix finally showed up to protect me.
It was a pity that his action was redundant. I didn't need his help at all.
I wasn't bragging. It was not strenuous for me to handle such a scene on my own.
"No need. Get out of the way. Baby can do it." Before I could respond, Colin reached out to push Felix away unpleasantly and impatiently.
He looked disgusted as if Felix wasn't his biological brother but rather a piece of trash.
I laughed blatantly, which made Felix look embarrassed and annoyed. He deserved it.
"Colin, won't you get tired of being jealous? How can she drink such strong wine? How are we going to explain to Aunt Harper and Uncle Gerald if she drinks too much? Can you be more serious?" Felix attempted to take my wine glass after shaking off Colin's hand, but I evaded him. "Thank you, I can handle it."
Upon saying that, I drank another glass of wine.
As my stomach felt a little scorched, I picked up a crispy skewer and took a bite. I was in a pleasant mood eating such wonderful cuisine.
Felix stood by. When he saw that I drank numerous glasses of wine without fuss, he eventually went back to his seat, but his eyes were fixed on me.
I was so annoyed that I cursed him secretly. Rather than coming to me, he should take good care of his new girlfriend.
"What are you looking at? My baby never gets drunk." Colin picked up something and threw it over in dissatisfaction. The thing hit Felix hard, leaving a clear oil stain on his clothes. When his prank worked, Colin smiled proudly like a child. Felix's mouth twitched gloomily with anger.
The drunk Colin was adorable.
Leaning against my beloved boyfriend, I looked at the happy scene in front of me. I couldn't help but recall Thanksgiving during my senior year of high school.
Without Felix's resolute rejection, Colin and I wouldn't have had a chance to achieve our happiness.
After all, misfortune may be a blessing.
Felix was my misfortune, but he had made me replace precious blessings. I was content.
The sky glowed with the sunset in the west, creating a lovely backdrop.
Unexpectedly, a sweet voice broke the harmony of the atmosphere. I became depressed and suddenly realized what was missing.
Everything went smoothly and happily so far. However, how could we be happy in a world where Jasmine existed?
"It's so lively. I'm late. Should I take a drink as punishment?"
Colin's eyes widened when her voice sounded. He squinted slightly and tried to suppress his impatience and disgust as his starry eyes gradually became clear.
I couldn't help but feel bad for Jasmine. It should be lovely to love someone. However, her actions caused us to hate her.
