This rule was a little immoral, wasn't it?

What if someone drew a bathroom? Did that person have to let others poop or pee on them? That was heartless.

What was even more infuriating was that Colin and I wasted more than an hour just to dress up meticulously. Our efforts were totally wasted. We were busy for nothing.

That made me so angry that I really wanted to beat Xavier up and wished that he drew a character like a monk so that I could shave off his hair.

Xavier was such a ruthless young man. How did the professor give birth to such a person? He was so mischievous, the complete opposite of the professor's noble character. I really doubted if he was the professor's biological son. If he was, then there had to be a genetic mutation.

I reluctantly changed into formal attire with a heart full of dissatisfaction and helplessly went to the party. I guessed we just had to go with the flow and problem-solve on the spot if something unacceptable really happened.

The birthday party was arranged by the Kings. Whether it was the venue or the decorations, and even the guests, were way grander than Jasmine's. Even though I didn't know most of the guests, just from thei clothing and behavior, it was clear that they were in a different league.

When we got out of the car, we immediately saw Xavier waiting at the door. He was dressed like a turkey, with a cockscomb on his head. He kept cackling and greeting people with a big smile, but it was stiff and tinged with annoyance.

As a young man in his prime and on his own birthday, he should be partying with his friends or classmates. How could he have the patience to stand there like an idiot and repeat those words over and over again?

It was clear that from his annoyance, someone was pressuring him to do so, forcing him to suppress his temper and stand there obediently.

When he saw us getting out of the car, his eyes lit up. He immediately bounced over to greet us, leaving behind the couple who were talking to him. He hopped over like an energized rabbit.

Looking at his ridiculous outfit, I

really wanted to tease him. Unfortunately, we weren't that familiar with each other. Moreover, he seemed to be the kind of person who would brighten up with just a

little bit of attention. Content

I gave up after thinking about it. It was better not to provoke him, lest he caused us trouble later.

"Mr. White, Lulu, you're here."

What a brat! He addressed Colin so politely but called me "Lulu." I was older than him, so he should at least call me "Luna." It was impossible that he didn't understand this.

It could only mean that he did it intentionally. He was deliberately trying to stir up trouble. If it were someone with a more outgoing personality, they would make him address them properly and then jokingly berate him on the issue of seniority.

But I wouldn't give him that opportunity.

Anyway, Colin had already greeted him. Since I was with Colin, he could represent both of us. I didn't have to say anything.

People said that the highest form of retaliation against someone was to ignore them.

I knew that ignoring my mentor's son was indeed a little arrogant, and I was worried that it might cause unnecessary trouble.

But that brat didn't care at all.

After chatting with Colin for a while, he came to my right and put his arm around my shoulder to speak to me. He was so close that I could even smell the rosy scent of his cologne.

To be honest, I had very little knowledge about men's cologne. But weren't men's cologne usually musky? Why did Xavier choose to use rose cologne?
