Trevor sat on the sofa with a glass in his hand. His tone was cold and distant.

"Why did you bully Ms. Cooper!" Faye frowned and took quick baby steps toward Trevor. She glared at the man with her large watery eyes. The little girl was already simmering with anger when they were at the hospital. Seeing how Trevor had caused her mother so much misery, Faye vowed to tell her brother about the matter so that they would punish the man! Trevor examined the little girl's face flushed with anger as he took a gulp of ice cold water from the glass.

"Come over here, Faye. This has nothing to do with a little girl like you." Afraid that Trevor would be enraged by the little girl's words, Lina hurriedly stepped forward to drag Faye away. After all, no children had ever stepped foot in Gulliford villa as the man disliked their presence.

"Is your name Faye?" Trevor placed the glass on the table and said gently. He was looking at the girl with great fondness. He would usually be irritated at the sight of little children. However, unbeknownst to him, he found Una and the rest of the children oddly endearing.

"Yeah. Did you hear my question? I'm asking you, why did you bully Ms. Cooper?" Faye bravely questioned again, her face firmed with conviction. She did not allow anyone to bully her mother, similarto how her brothers would never let anyone take advantage of her. "What do you like to eat? I'll get the helpers to prepare them for you. You can play at Gulliford villa for as long as you wish. When you are tired, I'll get the chauffeur to send you home." Trevor reached out to pat Faye's head. He had intended to distract the little girl with his sweet-talking. For some reason, he wanted to be in her good books.

"Stop changing the topic will you? I'm asking you, why are you bullying Ms. Cooper?" Faye slapped away Trevor's fingers that were patting on her head and said firmly. Her eyes were resolute as she looked at the man. She thought to herself, does he really think he can win me over with some candies and games? That's impossible! Mommy's the most important person in the world! I'll never let anyone do harm to her.

"She's just a little child, young Mr. Gulliford. Don't be angry with her," Lina urged worriedly. No one,

including adults, had ever dared to speak to Trevor with such harsh words.

Look at this little girl's serious looks. Hold on a second, her domineering personality and strong conviction reminds me of young Mr. Gulliford when he was young.

"Faye is just a little girl, Trevor. You can vent your frustrations on me. Please don't take it out on her." Given his merciless personality, Jessica was afraid that Trevor would punish her daughter.

"Faye." Trevor held onto the little girl's hands and pulled her to be seated on his lap. "Ms. Cooper and your mommy are friends. I'm well-acquainted with your mommy too. Shouldn't you support me?" Given that they both knew Yolanda, Trevor was annoyed that the child was taking Jessica's side instead of him. "No! My brothers said that no one can bully her because she's our..."

Suddenly, Martin came down the stairs and interrupted, "Young Mr. Gulliford, someone from the office is calling you." Jessica heaved a sigh of relief as she was worried that Faye was about to reveal their relationship.

Jessica thought inwardly, seems like I can't keep Faye here for long. If she accidentally let loose our relationship, my children and I will all be in trouble.

Before Trevor left the room, he ordered Lina to cook some dishes that Faye liked. However, Jessica did not intend for the little girl to remain in Gulliford villa any longer. Hence, she called Alice to pick her up. After gobbling up the food, Jessica returned to her room to take a nap. She was afraid of meeting Trevor in the living room. The thought of how the man might have countless ways of tormenting her left Jessica in cold sweat.
