She Cried Wolf (OLD) -
Part 10
I go to school the next morning. Jackson washed my uniform so it’s clean to wear. We walk into the school together and his arm is draped over my shoulder. I blush and look at the ground when everyone starts staring at us. Luckily Jackson has the same classes as me so we walk together. He gets a phone call before lunch so he tells me to go ahead without him. As I’m walking there someone grabs my arm and pulls me outside.
I look up and see Jake’s very angry face. He glares at me before pulling me to his car and tossing me in. I whimper at the impact. He peels out of the parking lot and I try to calm my breathing. One we arrive at the house he drags me out of the car and tosses me into the basement. He doesn’t bother to chain my arms but throws clothing at me. I quickly changed out of my uniform. I’m now wearing a crop top tank and very short shorts.
He stalks towards me and begins to speak. “You had me so worried when you didn’t come home Angel.” He sneers in a sickly sweet voice. “Now it’s time for some fun” I shudder and two men come out from the shadows. All three of their eyes turn blood red. He growls and I close my eyes in fear. I snap my eyes back open when I hear the deep menacing growl of a wolf. Standing in their place are three giant wolves. One is brown, and the other two are Gray. I scramble to the corner as they slowly start walking towards me. The one in front (The biggest gray one) snaps its jaws at me and I kick it in the face causing its neck to snap to the side. The wolf yips and I use the distraction to bolt up the stairs and out the front door.
I slam the door closed and a thump tells me that one of the wolves ran into it. I make it about 100 feet when I hear the door splinter. “J-Jackson!?” I call out in my head, hoping I’m right. ”Jackson!” I call again. “Kitten? Where did you go?” I ignore his question. “Jackson Help me!” I glance behind me to see that only two wolves are chasing me. The biggest gray one must have stayed back. “Kitten what wrong?” he asks back. “I-it’s a w-wolf! There are wolves chasing me. I think they are wolves. They were human then they turned into wolves. They have red eyes!” I can hear the footfalls getting closer, so I speed up. “Ashley where are you?” he asks seriously.
“In the woods by my house” I miss his reply because one of the wolves comes up from behind and narrowly misses biting my calf. I squeak and stumble, flipping onto my back. The brown wolf straddles me and its saliva drips on my face. It growls and tries to snap at my face. I use my hands to push its face away. As I struggle to keep it from eating my face another wolf comes up and tackles the gray wolf.
In the background of my struggle I hear the growls and snaps of teeth. My hands slip causing me to lose my grip on the brown wolf’s head. I close my eyes and wait for the impact. Suddenly the weight is lifted from my chest and I crack one eye to see a giant black wolf standing over the body of the brown wolf. I scramble back and the giant black wolf whips it’s head to look at me. Behind the black wolf are four other wolves.
As it walks closer I feel my back hit a tree. With nowhere else to go I cover my face with my hands and make myself as small as possible. When nothing happens I peek through my fingers to see the black wolf has laid down in front of me and has its head in it’s front two paws. I drop my hands and the wolf whines, looking at me with sad eyes. When I look the wolf in the eyes I notice they are very familiar. Emerald green. The same color Jackson’s eyes turned the other day. I feel my eyes widen before they roll back and darkness fills my vision.

When I wake, I’m back in the bed from the other day. I’ve come to know this as Jackson room. His scent engulfs me. My heart speeds up as I remember the events from earlier. I pinch myself to ensure I’m not dreaming. Once I’m 100% sure the earlier events actually happened I get out of the bed and exit the room. The same two girls and two boys are in the living room along with Micheal, Hayden, Daniel, Jacob and Jackson. They all stop talking as I enter the room. I cross my arms and look at the ground. “J-Jackson? C-can I t-talk to y-you?” He stands and we walk back to his room. “Kitt-” I cut off his reply by looking him sharply in the eye.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” he freezes. “What do you mean?” my eyes narrow. A burst of anger flows through me. “You know exactly what I mean.” I walk into the bathroom and change into one of the outfits left in the bag Jackson gave me. “Kitten, I can explain” I tie my hair up into a messy ponytail. Jackson’s eyes darken at my outfit.
It’s a skirt that’s way shorter than I would ever wear and a crop top. I don’t know why, but all of the sudden I’m feeling incredibly confident. “Kitten. You’re not wearing that” I cross my arms. “Who says? You lied to me.” He growls. “I didn’t lie, I just didn’t tell you.” Something stirs in the back of my mind. I release a growl of my own. It surprises both me and Jackson. The anger takes over completely. Suddenly I have the feeling that I’m being pushed to the back of my mind and locked into a cage. It’s like someone else took over entirely. “Mate” Raja says before everything goes black.

Then next time I wake. I’m standing over Jackson with his wallet in one hand and his car keys in another. I don’t know how I got here but I have a strong urge to get in the car and drive. I’m Still not entirely in control. Mechanically I grab cash from his wallet and very quietly walk out of his room and out of the house. I get in the car and drive on auto-pilot.
I stop in front of a bar. Still stuck in a cage, I watch as I walk in the bar and sweet talk the bartender into giving me shots. I watch horrified as I take shot after shot. Soon, the alcohol is flowing through my veins. I get up and start moving my hips to the beat of the music. After a while I feel arms slip around my waist and I eventually start grinding into the man. I drag the man to the bar and we take more shots. I stumble back to the dance floor and he follows. We dance some more before I head to the parking lot. As I’m fumbling with my keys, Someone growls deeply behind me.
