She Cried Wolf (OLD) -
Part 22

As Harry situates himself on top of me the pain briefly fades. But faster than it faded, it’s back stronger than before. A new pain follows. This one from the mark on my collar bone. It burns and itches and flairs angry burst of pain that mixes with the other. I struggle to reign in screams of absolute agony. This pain is worse than any I’ve ever felt. Stars evade my vision and I fight to stay conscious. I eventually give up and allow the darkness to swallow me.

I wake up alone and immediately crawl to the grimy bathroom and vomit the little food I have in my stomach. When I finish I stand on shaky legs and collapse on the lumpy mattress. My whole body shakes as I begin to panic. I remember on New Years I promised myself I would never be put in that situation again, but here I am, dirty and used once again. I put my back against the wall and stare at the opposite corner.
My mind wonders to Jackson. A tear slips down my cheek. I can’t help but feel like I’ve let him down. In the two months, I’ve been here, I’ve been used over and over, and nobody wants a dirty used piece of trash as a mate. After my heat, Harry using me became a daily occurrence. Just as my mind starts to spiral down the dark path black boots block my view of the wall.
“Well, there’s my little plaything. How are we feeling this morning?” Harry Chirps. I briefly look up but don’t respond. “Now, that’s not very polite,” he tsks. When I still don’t answer him he growls. “Fine, you want to pout you can pout by yourself. I’m trying to be friendly but my efforts aren’t appreciated. So, no food until you decide you want to quit with the attitude.” I keep my eyes on the ground as he storms away. The basement door slams and releases a breath.
~Sydney~
I suck in a deep breath as I step over the border, knowing I will be surrounded in seconds. Right on cue, a deep growl sounds from in front of me. I shift quickly and change into the clothes I carried with me.
“You have a lot of guts coming back here,” Hunter growls as he emerges from the trees. Behind him, several other pack warriors emerge. I look him dead in the eyes-A sign of disrespect. “Yet here I am,” I say with a curtsy. “But don’t expect me to apologize for taking the b!tch,” I say quickly. Hunter growls again “You better watch your mouth. That b!tch just ever so happens to be your luna and queen.” Hunters minions also growl deeply at my insult. I huff. “Calm your dogs,” I growl back. Hunter takes a threatening step forward. “Jesus, I’m here to help,” I wince as I say it and look down. Hunter lifts an eyebrow. I roll a rock under my feet.
“As you probably know, Harry is my mate and he’s been...using Ashley. I can’t keep allowing that to happen,” Hunter looks skeptical when I finally lookup. “I can give you their location,” I finally say as I roll my eyes. This makes Hunter freeze. He narrows his eyes at me. “Why would you do that?” he asks utterly confused. I sigh deeply, irritated that this is taking so long. “As I said, Harry is my mate. And he is using Ashley in ways only mates should, I figure If I give up her location, I get my mate back, and the B1tch is out of my hair.” Hunter grits his teeth at my word choice but his eyes go glassy so I know he’s considering making a deal. “All right, Alpha Matthews wants to speak with you.” he finally says, annunciating the Alpha Matthews part to ensure I know that I’m no longer a member of this pack. The rouges make better pack members than the Cresent moon pack ever did.
We walk out of the trees and emerge on the main packland. When we enter the packhouse, Pack members are moving about doing daily chores. Jacks-Alpha Matthews has always been adamant on pack equality so omegas don’t exist in this pack. We pass many pack members along the way to the office, and they nod at Hunter and the warriors surrounding me. I catch sight of some of my old friends along and give them a small smile. The smile slips off my face when they glare and bare their teeth at me. Clearly, I’m no longer welcome here. We arrive at the large oak door of Jackson’s office. Before Hunter can knock the door is swung open. Faster than I can blink my back is slammed against the wall and an arm presses on my neck, cutting off my air supply.
“Where. Is. My. Mate?” each word is followed by more pressure on my neck and the sentence is followed by a deep growl. My lungs burn from the lack of oxygen as I sputter a reply. “Remove your arm from my neck and I’ll tell you.” I manage weakly. He pushes harder before releasing me. I suck in deep lungfuls of air and rub at my neck. I have to clear my throat a few times before I can speak. “I’m not so sure I want to tell you now,” I say in a raspy voice. Jackson growls and goes to lunge at me but gets pulled back by Kyle.
“Whoa now, let her talk,” he tells Jackson pushing him into a chair. “You better get on with it. Or I won’t hold him back next time.” He says to me. I look to Jackson who is shaking with rage. I roll my eyes and give the location. I’ve hardly finished speaking when I’m suddenly grabbed from behind. I attempt to fight the strong arms that hold me. “You actually thought I would allow you to leave after what you’ve done?” Jackson says with an empty voice. I look at him-I mean I really look at him for the first time. His eyes have dark circles under them and he hasn’t shaved. His hair is longer than I’ve ever seen it and is messy from his hands running through it. He looks exhausted. Similar to the way Ashley looks, if not better. I drop my neck in surrender and stop fighting. I allow them to drag me to the cells and am chained to a wall. I’m given an injection similar to the one Ashley was given to block mind-link. I sigh deeply and lean my head back, awaiting my punishment.

Aaaaannnd, I’m back. After a particularly boring spring break I am back in business! And I have a chapter for you! I know, I’m amazing. Just kidding I’m actually amazingly not amazing. (AKA I’m the opposite of amazing)
Actually, I could use some advice. I have a “friend” who was supposed to stay over at my house while my mom and brother went to a doctors appointment. Note, I was completely alone overnight. This “Friend” forgot she was going to stay the night so I ended up staying alone. When confronted she got extremely dramatic. I forgave her-as I always do when she walks all over me which happens often-but she completely ignored me at school today. Also note that she made previous comments after we went on a trip together such as “Says the one who got a 21 on the ACT” and “We’re practically best friends” What would ya’ll do? Because I’m completely baffled and 100% done with her games.
Anywho, rant over, How was y’alls break? (If you had a break or just how are you in general) I binge watched ‘The 1o0’ and binge read ′The Duke & I’. It was amazing btw. ...This authors note is way to long so I’ll just go work on the next chapter....
Okay, Bye!
--Thank’s for reading, and as always, Stay sweet :p
