Quincy was so nervous that sweat started to trickle down his forehead. He gritted his teeth andglared at Millie, “Very well, Millie, this is what you wanted.”

His tone and gaze brimmed with menace as he continued, “Since you have the guts to go after myfinger, I’ll make sure you regret it!”

Millie narrowed her eyes, understanding that Quincy wasn’t someone who could accept defeat.

“Pfft! How could he threaten her?” Jake grumbled.

Quincy tightened his grip on the knife and placed his other hand on the car hood. At that moment,all eyes

were on him.

Millie, however, simply leaned against the car with her arms crossed. Her demeanor was indifferentand relaxed.

While everyone’s attention was on Quincy, Winston’s gaze remained fixed on Millie. He couldn’tbelieve she dared to do such a thing. Was her previous docility just a facade?

As Quincy raised his arm, the knife gleamed under the moonlight. But just as it was about todescend, a voice rang out.

“Who has the nerve to cause trouble at the WK Club?”

Immediately after the words settled, Quincy lifted his head, and his eyes widened in shock. It washis boss and club owner, Luke Hunt!

Quincy turned around, and sure enough, the club owner had arrived. He was accompanied by adozen burly men in suits, all of whom looked like bodyguards.

Matt trailed behind the club owner and shouted, “This is the woman who’s been causing chaos!”

Luke sized up Millie before bellowing, “Quincy, come here!”

In an instant, tears welled up in Quincy’s eyes, and his hand holding the knife began to tremble.Luke had finally arrived! Quincy had thought no one would come to his rescue.

“Boss!” Quincy called out.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead, his legs shaking as he staggered to Luke. If they had comeone second later, Quincy might have already wet his pants.

Then, he turned. With Luke by his side, he felt emboldened.

The men facing Millie were dressed in black and looked intimidating, while she stood alone, clearlyoutmatched.

“What’s going on?” Millie asked in confusion.

So, Luke got straight to the point. “The race is over. You’re not welcome here anymore.”

Millie blinked and replied, “But we’ve signed a contract. He has to honor the terms.”

“Stop pushing your luck!” Luke growled.

The corner of Millie’s lips curled into a smirk, while Quincy puffed out his chest. He was clearlyfeeling secure with his backup.

Millie was rendered speechless at that sight.

“Either get out of here, or I’ll give you one of my fingers!” Quincy shouted.

If Millie actually dared to take his finger, they would make sure she faced severe consequences.She could try them if she wanted to replace out.

The crowd, once abuzz with chatter, fell into a sudden hush.

Marvin jumped down from the stands, stood behind Millie, and asked with a frown, “You can’t acceptdefeat, huh?”

“Where did this punk come from? He looks like he can’t even handle a couple of blows,” Lukeremarked with a grin.

Marvin stepped forward, but Millie stopped him and said, “Sir, all I’m asking for is Quincy’s finger.Otherwise, I won’t be leaving tonight.”

She wasn’t afraid if they wanted to fight. How could she survive in the underworld if she didn’t haveskills? Luke frowned in return. “You really are stubborn. Are you insisting on creating trouble here?”

“He was the one who insulted me and my friend! Demanding a finger is already letting him off easy!”Millie argued.

Luke sneered, “In that case, not only will you not get his finger, but you won’t be leaving here in onepiece either!”

He figured that by making Millie’s life a living hell was the only way she would learn where shestood. With a wave of his hand, the bodyguards behind the club owner started moving towardMillie.

Right then, a trace of sarcasm flashed across his eyes as he mused, “Trying to test my limits, huh? Ifear no one! At Python Mountain, I’m the king!”

Just as the bodyguards were about to reach for Millie, a deep male voice rang out from the stands.”Touch her and see what happens.‘
