Chapter 65

What? Millie really had Snowdrop?

Joanna could not help but straighten her back and treat this matter seriously.

Jake also crossed his arms and leaned against the stage to watch the found the matter of theauthenticity of Snowdrop to be very interesting.

scene before him unfold. He

Marvin went up to Millie and said respectfully, “Ms. Caldwell, here’s the Snowdrop you wanted.”

“Put it down.” Millie pointed to the stage.

Marvin craftily placed the Snowdrop beside the fake Snowdrop.

Later, when he revealed it, it would be obvious which one was real and which one was fake.

Millie’s face darkened and she growled in a domineering manner. “Open it!”

After she said that, Marvin lifted the black velvet cloth. The Snowdrop that was dazzling to the eyesappeared in front of everyone.

The audience’s breath hitched in their throat, and their eyes widened.

Millie had designed the packaging of the Snowdrop. The herb was on a platform that could rotate, and the cover was a glass dome.

The Snowdrop lay on the platform like a white rose as it rotated. It was especially precious. At onceglance, one could tell that it was a treasure!

Meanwhile, Joanna’s Snowdrop looked like the roots of a withered tree. It could not be compared toMillie’s at all.

“This…” Gloria took a step forward, feeling stunned.

Selma raised her head and looked at Millie, asking carefully, “Mills, this is… the Snowdrop?”

“Yes, Grandma. I can guarantee that it’s the real Snowdrop!” Millie smiled, her face filled withdetermination and confidence.

Joanna was staring at the Snowdrop in a daze. She clenched her dress tightly and felt her throatconstrict. She couldn’t say a word.

This…

Obviously, Millie’s Snowdrop looked more like the real thing. Hers looked really fake.

She couldn’t help but look at Jeremy. What should she do now?

“Then… What is hers?” Selma pointed at Joanna’s herb..

Millie smiled helplessly, “Grandma, that’s just a normal herb. It looks like it costs around threethousand dollars to five thousand dollars, maybe even less.”

Hearing this, Gloria’s face darkened.

Joanna was displeased. “Millie, stop slandering me! This is the real Snowdrop!”

Joanna walked toward Millie and glared at her. She questioned, “You say that yours is the realSnowdrop, but do you have any proof?”

She couldn’t lose. If she admitted that her Snowdrop was fake that night, then she would becompletely finished. The Greer family would hate her even more, and her chances of being withWinston would be even slimmer.

She would not allow such a thing to happen! Absolutely not!

“You say that yours is the real Snowdrop. Do you have proof?” Millie raised her eyebrow, signalingJoanna to provide evidence.

Joanna opened her mouth. She… Of course she couldn’t provide evidence.

“Y–You, stop dwelling on trivial matters. You should show us proof that yours is the real Snowdrop.Otherwise, yours is fake!” Joanna’s face was flushed red.

She didn’t forget to look at the crowd and signal to them to speak up for her.

Especially those who had been flattering her and asking for her contact number. Why were theysilent

now?

“Since you want proof, then I’ll show you proof, Ms. Lowell,” Millie said.

Joanna herself had requested for the evidence. So, she shouldn’t be blamed for proving thatJoanna’s Snowdrop was fake.

Millie turned to Marvin, who nodded.

Holding a high–tech identification device from M Base, Marvin said with a smile, “Ms. Lowell, let mehelp you scan your item. Let’s see what it really is, shall we?”
