Silly Bride novel (Winnie and Xavier) -
Chapter 100
"I was using this hand just now..." Xavier held her wrists down with one hand and undid her belt with another.
"However, I couldn't let my injured leg get wet, so I lifted it up like this..."
While he was talking, he lifted her leg and placed it on his waist.
With that, they were both extremely close to one another.
There was only a lamp lit in the dim room, and Winnie could see the burning desire in Xavier's eyes.
She lifted her arms and slowly put them on his shoulders.
"What do you think you're doing? Don't you think you're getting ahead of yourself? Did I give you permission to do such a thing?" she whispered into his ear.
Xavier's passion didn't dampen one bit. He bit her earlobe gently and uttered in a hoarse voice, "What do you think I'm doing, Winnie? I'm just demonstrating how I shower with an injured leg. Isn't this what you want? Should I carry on?" His hot breath sprayed against her ear.
Winnie closed her eyes in pleasure and raised her neck slightly. "Then you can try to please me," she said, her voice soft and breathy.
"With pleasure." Xavier smiled, for he was pleased by the fact that she was blushing, and he couldn't help but kiss her passionately.
Right when he was about to try to get her into the mood, they heard someone knocking on the door anxiously.
Along with the knocking sounds came Jacinta's voice. "Winnie? Winnie, are you asleep already? May I come in?"
Xavier abruptly stopped what he was doing when he heard Jacinta's voice.
He instinctively frowned and suggested, "Just tell your granny that you've already fallen asleep, okay?"
Winnie sighed and furrowed her brows. "I'm sorry, but I think it's time you leave."
"What? Are we not a married couple?"
"Oh, come on. That line again?"
"You were always so eager to have sex with me, no? It's not like we haven't slept together yet. Why are you asking me to leave now?" "Well, I wanted to have sex with you back then. Now, you're the one who's eager to have your way with me. There's a difference." Xavier frowned. "What do you mean? Don't you want to have sex with me now? Are you no longer interested?"
"Ha! Why do you make me sound like I'm a douchebag? I'm just not as desperate as you are."
"What does your granny want, then? Can't she just talk to you tomorrow?"
Winnie knew what Xavier wanted. After all, his erection said it all.
However, she would choose Jacinta over him any day.
She got up and quickly got dressed.
After switching on the lights, she stood by the bed and looked down at him. "That's all for today. You may leave now."
Xavier narrowed his eyes and thought the woman was acting like a prostitute.
With his gaze fixated on her, he gradually sat up. With an unreadable expression, he asked, "Do you want me to light you a cigarette?"
Winnie raised her brows. "Thanks, but no. I don't smoke."
With that, she bent down and helped Xavier tidy up his messed-up bathrobe.
She knew why Jacinta had shown up. Granny doesn't like Xavier, and she wants me to stay away from him. That's why she came and interrupted us.
Winnie mulled over it for a while and said, "Since you're injured, I'll leave. You're right. This is your room."
She then put on her bathrobe and left.
Xavier was left sitting on the bed with his lustful desires consuming him. I rushed back here, but nothing happened. I've even let go of my pride and tried to please her. In the end, I got nothing! Winnie looked rather energized the next morning.
Xavier, on the other hand, didn't. With those dark circles underneath his eyes, it was obvious that he didn't have a good night's sleep.
Jacinta made breakfast that morning. The three of them remained silent when they were having breakfast.
Once they were done with breakfast, Xavier went into the study, and Louis arrived shortly after.
Winnie had her own things to attend to as well.
Seeing that both of them had things to do, Jacinta didn't want to disturb them, so she went grocery shopping.
After being kept busy for an hour or so, Winnie heard someone knocking on her door.
She closed the lid of her laptop and yelled, "The door is unlocked!"
As soon as those words fell, Louis opened the door and walked in.
"What's up? Is something the matter?" Winnie asked.
"It's a piece of news regarding Yara. I don't know if you're interested in hearing it, Mrs. Fairchild," Louis answered.
"A piece of news regarding Yara?" Winnie frowned slightly. "I didn't ask you to keep an eye on her, did I? Why are you keeping tabs?"
"Mr. Xavier told me to do so."
"Oh?" Winnie smiled faintly. "Are you here because he told you to come?"
Louis nodded. "Yes."
"Why didn't he come here himself?" Winnie stood up from the couch and tilted her head to look into the study behind Louis.
Louis opened his mouth to speak, but he hesitated. After a while, he uttered, "Mr. Xavier s-said that you haven't spoken to him since this morning. Hence, he doesn't know if you want to hear his voice." Winnie was amused. Even the CEO of Fairchild Corporation has such a childish side to him!
She tried to suppress her laughter and asked, "All right. What news do you have?"
Louis proceeded to tell Winnie about what he had learned.
According to him, Yara got drunk and was involved in an accident. She was sent to the hospital, and Hamish visited her at the hospital. For some unknown reason, they got into an argument and almost fought each other.
Upon hearing that, Winnie couldn't help but chuckle. They actually fought with each other at the hospital?
"If you have a piece of good news like this the next time, tell me about it right away instead of asking if I'm interested in hearing it. By the way, are you guys done talking shop?" she asked.
"Yes. Mr. Xavier said I'm no longer needed here, so he told me to go back to the company. Do you need help with anything, Mrs. Fairchild?" Louis asked.
"No. Thank you."
After watching Louis leave, Winnie walked toward the study.
The door to the study wasn't closed, and Xavier was busy working on his laptop when Winnie walked in.
He heard Winnie walking in, but he didn't bother looking up.
Winnie was amused. "Why are you still pretending? Your door isn't closed, so you should've heard my conversation with Louis, right? You said I've been ignoring you the whole morning. Couldn't you initiate a conversation with me?"
