Sir, Let’s Divorce by Victoria Nelson Chapter 37
Chapter 37
It was late autumn rain.
Victoria was drenched. When she checked in at the front desk, many strange eyes looked at her.
Not only because of her wet body, but also because of the obvious palm print on her face.
She lowered her head and ignored them, avoiding their gazes.
“Hello, Miss. Your room has been checked in. This is your room card,”
The receptionist was very professional. She didn’t say anything to Victoria and asked her, “Do you need me to get you something to dry yourself?”
“Yes, please.” Victoria nodded.
“Someone will go to your room later. Please listen to the doorbell.”
“Okay, thank you.”
When she reached the room, Victoria went straight into the bathroom.
The wet coat was piled up at the door. She opened the shower and stood under the hot water.
The hazy heat immediately rose, and the mirror in the bathroom became blurred.
Victoria saw her reflection, and there was a bright red palm print on her face.
She reached out to touch it, closed her eyes, and her tears flowed down.
Just now in South Manor, she did not cry, and did not want to be looked down upon.
Now, in the bathroom with no one around, her tears were raging.
In all her life. Bruce had never hit her…
He used to dote on her.
But now, for Anya, he actually slapped her in the face….
Victoria suddenly squatted down slowly, hugged her knees, buried her face in them, and allowed the hot water to wash her.
She seemed…
She really didn’t have a father.
‘Ding-
The doorbell suddenly rang.
It should be the dry crew arranged by the hotel.
Victoria immediately stood up and sorted out her emotions.
She quickly took a shower, wrapped herself in a bathrobe, and washed her face in the mirror.
It was not until her eyes were no longer red that she opened the door. “Hello, I have put the wet clothes…”
Her voice came to a sudden halt, and there was a trace of surprise in it:
“Matthew?”
Victoria looked at the man who had come out of the door and subconsciously took a step back. “Why are you here…
Matthew was standing right in front of her. His suit was straight, and he stood tall.
Dressed in a high–definition suit that accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist, his aura was extraordinary. Especially when he stood in front of her in a bathrobe, he seemed to be from two different worlds.
He swept his indifferent eyes over her and walked past her without saying anything.
Victoria frowned, but she still closed the door and turned around to ask him, “Is there anything you need?”
In the past, Matthew had looked for her either to solve his needs or to let her handle something.
The man stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at her.
His gaze landed on her face and his eyes darkened slightly. He walked in front of her and lifted her chin. “Who hit you?” Although Victoria had washed her face and there were no signs of her crying, the palm print on her left face was very clear.
Victoria did not want to talk about this matter. She was a little annoyed and turned her face to the other side. “It’s none of your business…”

Just as she finished speaking, she let out a painful cry.
“Victoria, don’t give me a hard time.” Matthew tightened his grip on her chin, leaving a red mark.
His voice was very cold as he stared at her with a heavy gaze.
“Matthew, are you deliberately making fun of me?” Victoria suddenly felt a sense of irony.
“It’s not enough for you to let Anya complain to my father and kick me out of the house. Now you want to make fun of me?” She forcefully brushed his hand away.
Matthew did not say anything and only looked at her with his deep eyes.
“Just treat it as me begging you… Even if you want to torture me, do it another day? I’m really too tired today…” Victoria suddenly lost her strength, her voice filled with fatigue.
