Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 782 I Have Evidence

Julien didn't answer, which meant that she guessed correctly.

Sydney was curious and touched.

She knew that he just wanted to have lunch with her and didn't want to eat first.

Sydney sighed, and her eyes softened. "Why did you have to do this? You knew I was sleeping, but you still waited for me. Did you know how long I would sleep? If I slept until the end of the afternoon, would you have to wait until that time?"

Julien chuckled casually. "It's not a big deal. Don't be so serious."

"This isn't a big deal?" Sydney pursed her red lips and raised her voice. "Eating late is not good for your health. Do you know that? And you had an accident last night."

"You worry too much. An occasional late meal won't do any harm to my health," said Julien, trying to convince Sydney that a late meal was not a big problem.

Seeing him so stubborn, Sydney slapped his thigh in anger.

Julien let out a groan of pain.

Sydney grunted coldly, "Serves you right!"

"Are you angry?" Julien rubbed his thigh, which was sore from her slap, and looked at her with a slight inclination of his head.

Sydney didn't want to meet his eyes, so she turned her head to the side. "What do you think? You didn't eat on time, but you don't take it seriously. Can I not be angry? I am worried about your health. Yet you don't care at all."

"You misunderstood me." Julien reached out and pressed her shoulder. Seeing her turn back, he said in a gentle voice, "I take your words seriously. I just think a late meal won't cause any harm to my health. Rather than eating alone, I prefer to eat with you. Eating together is more joyful, right?"

Sydney looked up at him. "That's true, but you could have woken me up at that time."

Julien laughed, "You were sleeping sound, and your sleeping face looked so cute. How could I have wanted to wake you up?"

This made Sydney flush, and she glared at him. The anger in her heart instantly dissipated.

He always had a way of cooling her down.

Sydney forced a smile and said resignedly, "Forget it. I'll let you off this time. Don't wait for me in the future, or I won't dare to come to your place to rest again."

Julien thought, 'She won't dare to come here again?

'No! I can't let that happen.'

Julien's expression and tone immediately turned grim. "Okay, this is the last time."

"Really?" Sydney raised her eyebrows.

Julien nodded. "Yes."

"That's good," Sydney finally smiled and then admonished him. "Even if I do not come here in the future, you should eat on time. I've heard from Zach that you sometimes skip meals because of work. This is bad for your health. If you have any health problems, I will dislike you."

She threatened him.

Julien looked serious. "Then it seems I have to take good care of myself, or I will be disliked and abandoned by you."

"Of course. You are several years older than me, so you have to take good care of yourself. Otherwise, when you are old and we walk outside in the future, people will say that you are much older than me." Sydney looked at him with a smile.

Julien's expression stiffened slightly.

He thought, 'I'm several years older than her.'

'When we walk outside in the future, people say I'm much older than her.'

He didn't like either of these two statements, and he felt like he was really old.

Thinking about it, Julien couldn't help but raise his hand and touch his face, and then he looked at Sydney's face again.

Sydney's face was fair and springy, without a single fine line. Although she was 27, she looked like she was about 20.

And he...

Julien couldn't see his face at the moment, so he was not sure if he had wrinkles on his face.

But he was several years older than her, so he uncontrollably thought about whether he was really old.

"What's wrong?" Sydney asked curiously, waving her hand. She saw Julien's eyelids drooping. It seemed like he was lost in thought and suspicious of something.

Julien's eyes flickered for a moment as he came out of his trance. He avoided her eyes and coughed gently, his voice a little cold and stiff. "I'm fine, I'll take good care of myself and won't let myself look old." Hearing that the man's tone was sullen, Sydney quickly understood why he was upset. She covered her stomach and laughed, "Good, then I'll wait for you to take good care of yourself. Hahaha." Looking at the woman laughing so happily, Julien sighed wryly and then flicked her forehead. "Okay, stop laughing. Your chest will hurt."

Sydney nodded while laughing. She slowly stopped it and raised her hand to touch the man's face. "Don't worry. Even if you don't take good care of yourself, you will not look old. People won't misunderstand when we walk out."

Hearing her say that he didn't look old, Julien raised his eyebrows. Although he did not answer, his thin lips curved up in satisfaction.

That was more like it.

After laughing and joking for a while, Sydney finally remembered the business and hastily asked Julien, "By the way, did you read the messages I had sent you earlier?"

Julien nodded his head, and his expression became serious. "Yes. It was done by a director of my company named Fabian. I have already instructed Zach to investigate this matter. After we replace the evidence, I will deal with these assholes."

As he mentioned this, his eyes flashed coldly, and his face was filled with disgust, looking terrifying.

It could be seen that Fabian made Julien very angry.

"I have evidence," Sydney said.

Julien looked at her in amazement. "Really?"

"Yes." Sydney nodded and then frowned. "Why are you looking at me like that? Are you doubting my words?"

"No." Julien shook his head. "No. I just want to know where you got the evidence."

"I certainly have my way," Sydney smiled at him and then took out her phone from her bag and played the recording. Julien's eyes narrowed as he heard the recording.

It was one of the managers under Fabian.

Julien had asked Zach to investigate who Fabian had sent into his office, and Zach found out it was this manager.

Just knowing this was of little use. It could not prove that this manager came into his office to look for documents, and this manager could defend himself by claiming that he came in just to take a look. Then they could do nothing with him.

Even Julien couldn't do anything with this manager.

After all, this manager was Fabian's subordinate, and Fabian was the company's senior director, who had made some contributions earlier.

If Julien punished Fabian and his subordinate without any evidence, some shareholders would certainly oppose it.

Therefore, Julien instructed Zach to replace evidence. If it had been other shareholders, Julien would not have been so patient.

Unexpectedly, Sydney handed him the evidence before Zach, and it was very useful.

This recording pissed Julien off.

After the recording was played, Julien's thin lips pursed into a line, and his face darkened as he looked at the woman in front of him.

Sydney proudly put the phone down without noticing Julien's change, smiling, "How is it? This evidence is good, right? I am now sending it to you. I originally wanted to send it to you when I texted you, but at that time, you were in a meeting, so I was afraid that you would play the recording in the meeting. It would be dangerous if some people in your company heard it."
