Sir, Madam Dispeared Again After Divorce!
Chapter 827 Remember to Wake Me Up

Julien looked particularly funny when he held Sydney's purse. People who saw him widened their eyes in disbelief and then tried hard to suppress their smiles.

Since some people were at a distance from Julien and Sydney, they thought they wouldn't be noticed. So, they took photos and shared them in chatting groups with excitement. As increasingly more people knew that Julien was carrying a lady's purse, the more people were amused.

For a while, the atmosphere in Skylight Corporation was as lively as the New Year, and almost everyone was talking about the funny photos.

Though Sydney, the president of Skylight Corporation, was not in the group with ordinary employees, she saw one of Julien's photos in the executives' group.

After all, some people liked spreading information. So, a photo was passed from the ordinary employees' group to the executives' group.

Seeing the photo in which Julien walked while carrying her purse, Sydney burst out laughing.

Julien turned the car on and was about to start it when hearing her laughter. He put his hands on the steering wheel and turned to face her. "What are you looking at?"

Sydney quickly put the phone screen on her lap and looked up at him. Her smile hadn't faded away and her cheeks were pink. She shook her head and answered, "Er... I saw a funny photo online."

She dared not show him the photo, as he would be pissed off if seeing it.

Julien narrowed his eyes. "A funny photo?"

"Yeah." Sydney locked her phone and nodded.

Julien's eyes fell on her phone. "Let me see what the funny photo is."

"I've exited the webpage." Sydney showed him her phone and then put it aside quickly. The next second, she changed the subject. "Well, it's not important. Let's go back quickly. I'm hungry now." As she spoke, she patted her belly.

Knowing she was hungry, Julien gave up the idea of seeing the photo, nodded and said, "Sit stably."

"Okay," Sydney replied, grabbing the seat belt with both hands.

Only then did Julien release the brake and start the car.

When Sydney was sure that he would not pester her to see the photo and began driving carefully, she secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Then she lowered her head, turned on her phone again, and saved the photo with a long press.

'I don't know whether there will be another funny photo of him.

'If not, this photo will become out of print.

'I must save it as a keepsake.

'If I get angry in the future, I can look at it to amuse myself.'

Sydney carefully saved the photo and set a password, in case Julien discovered it accidentally and argued with her.

After the password was set, Sydney raised her lips with satisfaction. She put her phone in her purse and yawned.

Julien saw her yawn out of the corner of his eye and advised softly, "There is a traffic jam ahead, and it might take a longer time to arrive. If you are sleepy, just sleep. I'll wake you up when we reach home." 'Sleep now. And you'll be more energetic later,' Julien thought with dark eyes.

Sydney didn't know what Julien was thinking about. Rubbing her temples, she looked ahead.

When she found the traffic jam and noticed the car moving forward very slowly, which stopped after driving a few meters, she realized it was uncertain when to get to Shallow Bay and nodded, "Okay, I'll sleep for a while. You must awake me when you arrive. Don't carry me up again. Your arm hasn't fully recovered yet."

"Okay." Julien nodded.

Sydney yawned again. The next second, she rolled down the seat, lay on it and closed her eyes. She fell asleep after a while.

Staring at her sleeping face, he reached out to caress it lightly.

When Sydney felt someone fondling her face, she frowned and then raised her hand to push Julien's hand away. She muttered, "Don't touch my face. It gets itchy..."

Her voice was full of sleepiness, as soft as a brush, scratching Julien's ear.

Julien's ear also itched, and he raised his hand to rub it. Then he saw Sydney turn her head to face the car door.

At the sight of it, Julien gave a low laugh and stopped stroking her face. He withdrew his hand and then unbuttoned his coat, took it off, shook it lightly, and covered Sydney with it. He also tidied up her hair. After this, he sat up straight, buckled the seat belt and went on driving.

It was dark when they returned to Shallow Bay.

Sydney was woken up by Julien at this moment.

She rubbed her eyes and opened them. Looking at the small space inside the car, she realized that she was still in the car and then sat up. "Have we reached home?"

Maybe she wasn't fully awake, so her voice was tinged with softness and hoarseness.

Julien nodded. "Yes."

He turned on the lights in the car.

Suddenly, the dark car lit up.

When Sydney looked out of the car through the windshield and saw the familiar parking lot, she made sure that she had arrived home. Shortly, she unfastened her seat belt and smiled at Julien. "Well, you didn't let me sleep and carry me up directly like before."

"Because I know you will blame me when you wake up." Julien shrugged his shoulders.

Sydney squeezed her stiff neck. "It's good that you know it. When your arm recovers, I won't mind if you do so. But now your arm has not fully recovered. If it is hurt when you carry me, I'll feel guilty." "Well, even so, I won't blame you." Julien looked at her seriously.

Sydney rolled her eyes at him. "Thought you don't blame me, I will blame myself. Er... what time is it?"

Although she asked Julien, she raised her hand and looked at the watch. "It's almost nine o'clock."

She was slightly surprised. "It's so late. Was the traffic heavily congested?"

"Yes." Julien nodded.

Sydney put down her hand. "No wonder I'm so hungry. Let's get out of the car."

Julien agreed and got out of the car with her.

After Sydney got out, she took off his coat and put it on her arm. When she saw him coming, she handed it to him.

But Julien refused to take the coat. "Wear it. Won't you feel cold if you give it to me now?"

"I'm not cold." Sydney shook her head and passed it to him again.

"You're only wearing a shirt and a thin vest. You should be colder. As we're not in the car now, you're prone to catch a cold if you don't wear the coat. Come on. Put it on. Don't tell me that men are proof against coldness. Maybe other women will believe it, but I don't believe it. Both men and women can feel cold. So, put it on," she insisted.

Julien felt Sydney now looked the same as him when he didn't allow others to reject his requirement.

Julien raised his eyebrows, laughed lowly, and reached out to take the coat. "Okay, I'll wear it."

He knew that she was worried that he would get sick.

So, in order not to worry her, he would obey her requirement.

Seeing Julien put on his coat, Sydney smiled with satisfaction, "Let's go home."
