Chapter 359.1 Be Superior I

Troy paused for a moment. “I don’t understand why you would hold such animosity towards Imogen. Is it because of Walter’s second wife, Irene?”

Troy had known for a long time that Imogen’s mother was Yohan’s stepmother.

He didn’t think it was necessary to tell Imogen, as they were already unrelated individuals.

But unexpectedly, Imogen had met Yohan during their university days.

On the day of their video call in the Jubilian City, Imogen seemed upset, and Troy speculated that she must have learned about Irene’s identity.

Both Troy and Imogen had been abandoned by their biological parents.

As Emily heard Troy questioning like Imogen, her head buzzed out of anger. “Yes! If it weren’t for that wretched woman, Irene, seducing Walter, I would be his wife now, and you would be the young master of the Harrington family. Everything in the Harrington family would be yours. Imogen, just like her mother, thinks she can rely on her looks…”

As they separated, Walter secretly accompanied Emily to the airport and personally told her that he would replace a way to bring her and their child back.

She waited abroad for a long time only to replace out that Walter had married Irene, a woman with no background who relied on sleeping her way to the top.

Emily couldn’t accept losing to such a woman.

That was why Emily had investigated Irene long ago and knew that Irene had been married in her hometown and had a daughter.

Emily had forwarded this information to the Harrington family. However, Irene somehow managed to stop Walter from divorcing her.

Later, unexpectedly, Irene’s ex–husband died, and their daughter ended up being adopted by the Marshall family by accident.

At first, Emily only treated Imogen with indifference. Considering Irene’s heartlessness and how she lived a comfortable life without seeing her daughter, Emily also pitied Imogen.

But that night, Henry asked Troy to marry Imogen.

Emily couldn’t accept it.

She didn’t think Irene’s daughter would be worthy of her son.

Emily thought she finally saw Imogen’s true nature. In Emily’s eyes, Imogen, just like Irene, was a seductress. On the surface, Imogen appeared to be a pitiful woman, but deep down, Imogen knew how to seduce men.

“Shut up!” Troy’s tone was sharp. “You still haven’t realized it until now! Walter is inherently like this, a man who cheats in a marriage, juggling two relationships. Even if it wasn’t for Irene, would he have married you? Do you think I’m willing to be the young master of the Harrington family?” “You don’t understand the situation back then, so how can you say such things about him?! He is your father! Back then, he and Sibyl Pullman were in a marriage of convenience. When they got married, Sibyl knew that Walter and I were in love with each other! She claimed she wouldn’t interfere, but secretly, she drugged Walter. Otherwise, how could they have Yohan, that wretched bastard?” Emily was emotional, and her words were filled with immense jealousy and

resentment.

She thought If it weren’t for Sibyl, she and Walter wouldn’t have been separated.

Troy paused.

He was unaware of the past events and couldn’t verify the truth of Emily’s words.

Yet, Walter was definitely not an innocent person.

“I won’t argue with you about this matter, but I must tell you that Imogen is not Irene. She is my beloved. That’s all I have to say. I hope you will figure out what to do next.”

Troy said sternly before hanging up the phone.

Silently taking a deep breath, Troy placed his phone back into his pocket. He strode and walked back to the private room.
