Sold To The Billionaire Alpha -
Chapter 65
Orchid
“You! Look! Fabulous!” Said Mina, isolating each word and raising her voice an octave on fabulous.
I was standing on a circular platform about a foot off the ground in the middle of a showroom at a wedding dress boutique. The prices of these dresses were giving me anxiety so rather than taking me to a more affordable place, Mina and Tina just made the store girls take the price tags off.
“How much is this one?” I asked nonchalantly as I turned to the side, admiring the dress in the huge antique mirror.
“Don’t tell her!” Demanded Tina, throwing a stern look at the store girl.
“This one is designer,” said the store girl, smiling awkwardly.
“It’s a Fontine!” Exclaimed Mina.
I looked at my bridesmaids for help. Maybe they knew who that was. I assumed it had to be a werewolf designer. Friday shrugged.
“You look gorgeous in it though!” Said Friday sweetly.
“You look hot!” Agreed Raelynn.
“I love this one, Orchid,” cooed Bisa.
“It’s beautiful! You’re a vision, Orchid,” gushed Rose.
I did not exactly agree. The dress was a mermaid gown that was tight down to my knees before it flared out. There was onion skin over most of the back, making it very sheer back there. Orion might appreciate that but I didn’t. The front had a plunging neckline that formed a deep V just above my navel.
“It’s really really risqué. Don’t you think?” I whispered to the store girl for help.
Holly and Star came into the room at that moment. They both gasped.
“Wow. That’s very va va voom but…I don’t think Orchid looks comfortable,” said Holly gently.
“I miss not being pregnant,” said Star, tilting her head sideways looking at the neckline and the fitted bodice.
“You’ll get pregnant with that dress!” Said Raelynn, raising her champagne glass to me.
“It’s a pity your human friends couldn’t come today,” said Holly.
“Yeah,” I said. “But they’ll be here for the actual wedding and that’s what matters!”
I had finally completely come clean to Kat and Daisy, telling them Orion was a werewolf and I was half werewolf.
I explained to them that I really hadn’t known at all. Daisy had begun to wonder if she was half werewolf. She was paranoid that way. Kat just wanted a werewolf boyfriend or a vampire boyfriend. She said she wasn’t picky. She just wanted her man to be hot and immortal. Yeah, not picky at all. I smiled, thinking about those two. They were rearranging their shifts to come to the wedding as it was too last minute for them to take vacation or compensatory days so they were both at work right about now.
“I don’t really want to be sexy,” I admitted to Mina and Tina.
They looked at me like I had grown a third head.
“I want to be…whimsical,” I said, smiling.
“Oh, you want a ballgown!” Said Mina.
“Or an A-line cut,” wondered Tina.
“I definitely don’t want a mermaid dress. My knees are too weak for that,” I said.
Mina and Tina nodded.
“What level of embellishment are we looking at?” Asked Mina.
“On a scale from clean classic fabric to disco ball dress?” Specified Tina.
I chuckled.
“I want some sparkle but I don’t want to blind anyone,” I said.
“Got it!” Mina.
“On it!” Said Tina.
I got out of that dress as fast as physics would allow. I breathed a sigh of relief. In fact, I just breathed. I had not be able to breathe in that dress. I sat in the dressing room in my robe. There was a couch in there. I had to hand it to Mina and Tina. This was a really lovely boutique and the wedding dress appointment was overflowing with champagne and tiny desserts.
“Orchid?” Came Bisa’s voice.
“Come in. The door’s unlocked,” I said, quickly getting the bouquet of roses in a vase nearby to grow an extra stem and unlock the door.
I remained slumped on the couch.
“Aww, you’re tired already?” Asked Bisa.
“I’ll survive,” I said.
She sat next to me. I knew this was it. She was finally telling me. I had been trying to prompt her all day.
“Orchid, I…” said Bisa, pausing so long I decided to start guessing things.
Wrong things.
“You’re…a fugitive. You’re running away to join the circus. You’re late and we need to go to the pharmacy stat,” I said.
“You’re a really different sort of Luna, Orchid,” said Bisa. “And you’re my favourite Luna I’ve ever met!”
I grinned.
“I…met my mate,” she revealed.
I gasped. I over did it. I should have practised more. She looked at me.
“Who is it?” I asked hopefully convincingly, trying to bring my acting down a notch.
Bisa took a deep breath.
“He’s not wolf,” said Bisa.
Should I gasp again? I didn’t bother.
“Is he human like me?” I said, thinking that was what I would say if I didn’t know.
Bisa shook her head.
“He’s a wizard,” said Bisa.
“Fox?” I said softly, hoping I wasn’t guessing correctly too soon.
I only knew one wizard so…
Bisa nodded. She broke into a huge smile. I jumped to my feet. I squealed. She jumped to her feet and squealed too. We hugged.
“You’re happy?” She said.
“Of course!” I said. “I’m happy for you! I mean…I’m not happy to see you go…but…you probably have to go right?” I said, my smile faltering a little.
“I want to go with him,” she admitted.
“Go!” I said, grabbing her shoulders.
She smiled sadly.
“After my wedding though right?” I specified quickly.
“Yeah,” she said, smiling.
We hugged again.
“Fox is pretty foxy,” I said, thinking about it.
He was a good-looking guy.
“What have you two been up to?” I asked casually.
“Nothing!” Said Bisa pointedly. “I’m at work when I’m at the mansion!” She said indignantly.
“Mmhm,” I said, not buying that.
“I take my job very seriously,” she said, maintaining her innocence.
I tried to sniff her but she quickly backed away.
“So…do you…will you…mark Fox?” I asked, unsure of how that worked.
“Yeah,” she said. “Soon enough. Are you gonna mark Orion?”
I gasped, legitimately this time.
“I can, can’t I? I’m half wolf! I can mark him back!” I said, just realising this.
“Yes,” she chuckled.
I grinned. I knew what I’d be doing tonight.
Orion
Orchid was wedding dress shopping with a whole new clique of girlfriends. It was nice to see her make more friends in Wolf Country. All the girls seemed nice and Holly, Star and Friday were Lunas. They would probably be better suited to advising Orchid than my mother had been. I could scarcely believe there had been a time when I had thought Luna Lessons from my mother was a good idea.
I had arranged for Ellie or Joan, whichever her name really was, to begin therapy at the Institute. She would be in the Forensic Ward. My fellow pack leaders and I had sentenced her to ten years imprisonment, to be served in a psychiatric facility as she had been declared mentally ill by a team of pack psychiatrists and two pack psychologists. She had been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder which was sometimes called Multiple Personality Disorder. Technically, Joan was innocent but Ellie was guilty. It did not seem that there were more personalities, just those two, but two distinct personalities were enough to make the diagnosis according to the doctors. Even with the diagnosis, ten years was a very light sentence for being the accessory to a kidnapping of a Luna. Any wilful endangerment or harm of a Luna carried a sentence of death. Her light sentence was mainly due to Orchid’s plea for leniency as she knew how manipulative her ex could be.
My mother had not been sentenced yet. I was avoiding it to be honest. There was not much of a precedent set for her case. She had wilfully endangered a Luna but she was a Luna herself. Alphas and Lunas were usually considered blameless. They were allowed to break the law as they saw fit especially if it was for the betterment of the pack. They were the law. Packs were usually not democracies though many good Alphas and Lunas tried to involve their members in decision-making.
I sighed, putting my elbows on my desk and my head in my hands.
“Orion,” said a voice I’d know anywhere.
I turned around, astonished.
“Orchid, what are you doing here?” I asked, shocked.
“I live here,” she chuckled.
“I know but…back so soon?” I said, looking at the time.
She shrugged.
“I was very happy with the second and third dresses I tried on,” she said, smiling. “Also, you’re banned from my walk-in closet!”
“Isn’t the dress zipped up in one of those…” I began.
“Yes, but I don’t trust you not to take a peek!” She said pointedly.
“You snuck up on me,” I said, still amazed.
“You look so surprised,” she said, sitting in my lap.
I wrapped my arms around her.
“No one sneaks up on me. No one can. I hear everything!” I explained.
“I’m a sneaky girl!” She said triumphantly.
“That you are,” I said, grinning. “I’m impressed! Not even Perseus can sneak up on me.”
“I was going to sneak up and bite you,” she said menacingly, grabbing my shoulders suddenly.
I laughed.
“Are you a vampire now after hanging out with Raelynn?” I said.
“Rae is not a vampire! Ezra is,” she said, taking my yellow gold pen and doodling on my desk calendar with it. “Werewolves bite too!”
“Very true,” I said, tracing my mark on her delicate neck with my fingers.
She sighed. Every time a mate touched his or her mark, pleasure blossomed within the marked mate. Orchid leant back against my chest and extended her neck for me. I kissed my way from just under her earlobe to her clavicle. She shivered when my lips brushed against my mark on her. My hands were making their way from her knees slowly up her thighs. I trailed my fingers along her inner thighs, lifting her dress as I went. I reached the junctions between her thighs and her pelvis. I pulled her underwear down her legs and left it under my desk. I caressed her labia gently and she squirmed under my touch. I smirked as she begun m**n when I parted her folds and found her clit. I pinched the little bud gently, making her squeal.
“Orion,” she said breathlessly, turning to lock eyes with me.
“What?” I asked softly.
She was running her fingers down the sides of my neck. I gently cupped her face.
“Would you mind if I…if I marked you?” She whispered, biting her l*p nervously.
“Would I mind?” I repeated.
I gripped her waist and put her on my desk to face me.
“I wouldn’t mind,” I laughed. “But that is a huge understatement,” I said, standing up and brushing my nose against hers.
“So you’re saying yes?” She clarified.
“No,” I said.
“What?” She yelped.
“I’m saying hell yes,” I specified.
She giggled, pulling me in, drawing me closer and closer to her until there was no space left between us. I knew I wanted to be inside of her when she marked me. I knew she knew what I wanted, perhaps, instinctively. She pulled my face to hers and kissed me urgently. I inserted a deep finger inside of her. It had the desired effect. She whimpered, allowing my tongue to slide in and explore her mouth.
I pulled at the top of her dress popping some of the buttons off in my haste. The fabric pooled at her waist and behind her on the desk. I unhooked her bra and released her breasts. I g*****d at the sight of them. Her n*****s were already pebbling. I inserted another finger into her p***y while I sucked on one of her n*****s until I made her shriek. I moved to the other one to repeat the process, enjoying the wetness I was eliciting. I could feel it with my fingers. All the while, I kept pumping my fingers in and out of her p***y as my tongue swirled around her nipples.
I kissed my way down her torso, sucking on her skin as I went. I reached her flower and pushed her thighs further apart, wanting to see her all unfolded before me. She m****d as I breathed on her flower and then licked her, parting her folds with my tongue until I touched her clit. Her body jerked suddenly at the very moment my tongue brushed against her clit. I sucked her clit into my mouth and she arched her back and pushed her p***y against my face. I gripped her butt cheeks and moved her body back and forth while she rocked her h**s against my face. I plunged my tongue deep inside of her and she g*****d, moving rhythmically along with me as I tongue-f****d her until she could not take it anymore. She tried to move herself away from the intense pleasure but I grasped her h**s and held her in place. She came screaming as her sweet nectar gushed out onto my face.
I kissed my way back up her body until our lips met again and she could taste herself on my tongue. I was painfully hard at this point. I freed my member and entered her in one swift thrust. She exhaled sharply.
“You okay?” I asked, brushing my nose against hers.
She nodded.
“You okay?” She wondered.
I chuckled, nodding.
We moved together, slowly at first. I picked her up off the desk and sat back down into my chair with her on my lap, letting her ride instead. She took me in and out of herself. I could feel her body stretching to accommodate me. I gripped her h**s and thrust upwards into her a bit faster, filling her again and again. She was gripping my shoulders for dear life as I steadily quickened the pace until we were both a bit breathless. I could feel the tension inside of her through our bond. It was the very same tension that was building inside of me. We were completely in sync, our heartbeats synchronised, our breathing matched, our movements rhythmic. We were both close to the edge. I was pounding into her relentlessly now. I watched her eyes darken and I knew mine were doing the same. When her eyes turned black and we were seconds from our release, she sank her canines into my neck. I g*****d as her mark pushed me over the edge and pleasure burst through me. I could feel her walls contract around me as she came with me. She whimpered against my neck but she kept her canines in me while the waves of pleasure washed over us. This euphoria lingered longer than all the others. She stayed cuddled against my neck even after she released me, licking her mark to seal it. I could feel our bond strengthen. It was the Alpha’s mark on his Luna that truly sealed the deal on most fronts but the Luna’s mark on her Alpha completely opened the bond emotionally, allowing them to understand and anticipate each other’s needs. Right now, Orchid felt safe and strong and seen.
“What are you doing?” She mumbled sleepily as I pulled up the fabric that had been bunched up at her waist.
“Alpha and Luna or not,” I murmured, buttoning up her dress, “I don’t think I should carry you through the hallways naked.”
“Oh,” she said, grinning. “I kinda forgot we were in your office,” she said.
Some of the buttons were scattered on the floor so I just buttoned the all that were still on the dress. I would fetch those later.
“You know, I had been about to get a new office chair,” I said, holding her bridal style. “Now, I can’t. It’s a Hall of Famer now.”
“A Hall of Famer?” Giggled Orchid.
“Yep,” I said, carrying her to our room.
“So you’ll never get a new mattress or office desk then?” She wondered.
“I’ll never change the bathtub or bathroom counters either,” I added. “I’m glad you can’t cook because the kitchen counters are so old-fashioned.
She swatted my chest playfully.
“I can too cook,” she said.
“Yes, Dear,” I said dutifully. “That’s what you’re supposed to say to have a happy marriage,” I informed her as we reached our bedroom.
That earned me another swat.
“Marital bliss, here I come,” I announced.
That did not warrant a swat, just a sleepy smile from my bride-to-be.
