If Alex did not threaten Harvey, he would not fire them and ban them from the industry. As a result, they had nowhere left to go and could only join Four Seas Corporation. At first, they thought Four Seas Corporation would treat Jolene like a superstar and make her famous.

Nevertheless, it turned out to be an entirely different story. The contract she signed was no different from the offers from other companies, which was not to her advantage. Jolene took this as the biggest disrespect to a celebrity of her rank.

However, she had no choice but to accept the unreasonable conditions Jack had requested.

"President Sawyer, does this loser work for your company?" Jolene glared at Alex when she asked Jack the question.

Jack was stunned for a second, and then a playful smile crept up his face.

Before he could say a word, Alex smiled and answered, "Yes, I am President Sawyer's driver."

He was slightly surprised. He didn't think Jolene would come to Nebula City and to his company; after getting banned from the industry by Harvey.

When he saw Jolene for the first time, he thought she suited the role of the main actress of Galaxy Girls quite well.

Unfortunately, Jolene was a problematic character, and he didn't want to hire her although she was a very suitable candidate.

He believed a public figure without a good personality was a ticking bomb. It would be a matter of time before it brought trouble to the company.

Jack narrowed his eyes at Alex's words. He instantly understood that Jack and Jolene knew each other and had a feud before.

If that were the case, he could only leave this matter in Alex's hands.

Although, he had high hopes on Jolene.

Jolene wanted to say something when she found out Alex was Jack's driver, but Peggy held her back. She placed hef hand on Jolene and shot a look at her while shaking her head, "Since you're President Sawyer's driver, we will not make things difficult for you. If you apologize to Jolene, we'll let bygones be bygones."

After all, they shouldn't go overboard since Alex was Jack's driver.

Even though they had signed the contract with Four Seas Corporation, Jack might not even stand on their

side.

Moreover, she noticed Jack seemed disinterested when they were discussing the contract. So, if they

She had just finished speaking when Alex laughed mockingly and said, “As a person standing, what right do you have to ask me to apologize to you?"

Alex remained silent and gave her a sarcastic smirk.

She stomped her feet and turned to Jack immediately, "President Sawyer, you heard it with your own ears. He vilified me by saying that I have poor moral standing. You need to seek justice for me. It's a small matter for my reputation to be tarnished, but it might affect the company's image if the news got out."

Peggy initially wanted to play things down until the issue faded into obscurity, but she couldn't hold herself back any longer. "President Sawyer, we joined your company with sincerity, but your driver is atrocious! If you don't give us an explanation on this matter, we will consider terminating the contract," she said pompously.

Alex laughed coldly, "Then, please terminate the contract. As the saying goes, one rotten apple spoils the whole barrel, and I wouldn't want that to happen."

"Who do you think you are? You're just a driver. Do you have the right to even talk?" Jolene yelled furiously with a look of contempt in her eyes.

She thought Jack would definitely teach Alex a lesson by now.

But, in the next moment, she heard Jack coughed and said, "Well, we will terminate the contract then."
