Autumn looked on enviously at Auricl and Alex, who were joking around lightheartedly. She did not dare go over and bother them.

Alex kept the temperature under control while explaining parts of the pill-making procedure to Auriel, such as why these ingredients could have such incredible properties when mixed.

Even Tyrael didn't know half the things Alex was teaching her right now. Auriel paid the utmost attention to what Alex was saying. She felt as if someone had just shown her a whole new world. This was medical information her own grandfather had never taught her.
