The moment the children in the room realized that the door was opened, they swarmed out of the room. No one heeded Alex, who was rooted to the ground.

In seconds, Alex was the only one left in the room, still unable to come back to his senses.

At that very second, he felt a bone-deep weariness. The pain of losing Stanley was drowning Alex.

He had been searching for Stanley for two full days without stopping to eat or drink. It was all for the sake of replaceing his son before anything was to happen to Stanley.

Alex kept crying out Stanley's name in his mind, unable to face reality.

All their memories were flashing across his mind as if they were a movie, and he could almost hear Stanley's voice.
