Chapter 852 Crippling Antoine

The crowd Bung their jaws open in amazement upon witnessing the outcome. Never in the history of Green Mountain Monastery has something like this ever happened

Antoine had been provoked, then beaten to the point of incapacitation.

"H-How is that possible? He is a master of Green Mountain Monastery! How was he sent flying by a young fellow?"

"My God! I've truly seen it all today. This young man is so much more formidable than Master Antoine of Green Mountain Monastery. Who is this guy?"

"By the looks of it, Master Antoine is going to be bedridden for the rest of his life. This young man strikes hard indeed! He truly does not give a sh*t about Green Mountain Monastery."

The

young man Antoine had rescued had thought Alex would end up like him. Instead, he became flushed with excitement upon seeing Alex sending Antoine, who had beaten him cruelly, flying. A man hits their prime in their twenties. It would be so cool to have abilities like his!

After he dealt with Antoine, Alex turned to regard the two little monks, who were quavering with the corner of the stage. He then got off the stage with a smirk.

fright at

The monks heaved a sigh of relief, thankful for escaping with their lives intact when they realized Alex was not going to pursue them.

As soon as he came down the stage, two figures of very different sizes leaped into his arms. Maggie kissed him on the cheek. "That was awesome, Alex! I never knew you had such skills."

Stanley copied her by kissing Alex on the other cheek. "You're amazing. Daddy! You sent the bad guy flying! I want to be just as strong as you

At that moment, the youngster Alex had saved ran over and grabbed him excitedly. "That was stupendoul Sir. Would you be open to taking on an apprentice?"

Alex shook his head uncomfortably. "I'm not planning to right now. You look like a student. Perhaps your education should remain your priority."

The youngster seemed disappointed upon hearing Alex's response. "As you say, Sir," he said with a sigh. "You saved my life. I won't force you."

Alex smiled. He scooped Stanley up in his arms, then decided to replace a place to eat with Maggie since there was nothing else of interest happening at Green Mountain Monastery.

When they passed Daphne, they noticed she was wearing an ugly scowl. She looked as if she had swallowed something bitter.

Stannis, on the other hand, did not have a reason to behave spitefully toward Alex. Upon discovering. Alex's abilities, he even wanted to befriend the latter.

He stepped forward and clapped Alex on the shoulder. "You gave me quite a fright when you confronted Master Antoine earlier. I was worried sick for you. Imagine my surprise when you sent him flying instead! I'm very impressed."

Alex gave him a smile but did not respond to Stannis' comment on the duel. Instead, he changed the

subject. "I'm going to have lunch with my son and my friend. Excuse me."

"I know this place quite well, and I know where the best places to eat are. What say I treat you to a meal?" Stannis offered.

Alex nodded, accepting the gesture. It was their first time in Jadeborough, and he was unfamiliar with the city. Besides, he liked Stannis.

Daphne, on the other hand, was beside herself with fury. I can't believe Stannis would bring that damned youngster out to eat without even consulting me.

Despite her hearty dislike of him, she could not quite dismiss the scene of Alex sending Antoine flying with one punch from her mind. A fear of Alex began to develop within her, and she no longer dared speak out against him as she did before.
