"I'm still on your side, Grandpa. But, Alex is truly no match for you. Isn't it more fun to play chess with an opponent that's evenly matched with you?" Maggie quickly explained herself.

Richard waved his hand and said with a smile, "I don't think so. I enjoy playing chess with Alex."

"If that's the case, I shall continue to play with you." Alex couldn't bring himself to spoil Richard's mood.

Just like what Richard had said, Alex would have plenty of time to spend with Maggie in the future. It was not often that they came to Lumenopolis, and they wouldn't be staying for long either.
