Alex kicked the door to the chairman's office open, only to discover that the room was empty with no sign of Aiden.

"I... I... don't know either... Mr. Ward hasn't shown up at the office today. I'm just a secretary. Please don't kill me..." the woman stuttered out of fear, pleading tearfully.

Seeing how frightened she was, Alex could discern that she was most likely telling the truth.

At this point, it's clear that Aiden was the one who abducted Jessica. Alex was only suspecting Aiden's

involvement before this, but now, he was almost sure of it.

Instead of letting the secretary go, Alex dragged the woman, who had dropped to the floor in fright, up to her feet and demanded, "Give me your phone!"
