I shot up in bed with a gasp. I looked around to see Kee sitting on my bed next to me. I shot to my feet instantly.

"I found her." I said.

"I know." Kee replied.

"We need to figure out how to get to her now." I stated.

"I know." Kee said.

"Why are you just sitting there? Get up!" I ordered.

"Ares, there is nothing we can do to replace her." Kee stated.

"Excuse me?" I seethed.

"Not yet anyways." Kee said.

"What the hell does that mean?" I asked my sister.

Rex is growling manically in my head.

"I need you to come with me, and keep it quiet." Kee said.

My little sister stood up from my bed. She waved her hand over my bed, and another me appeared. The fake me is just laying there, doing nothing. Anyone who can sense power can tell this is an illusion. Fortunately, that doesn't apply to people are only watching me from afar.

"That should keep Darian busy for a while." Kee said.

Then my sister turned back to me. She placed her hand on my shoulder, and gave me a small smile. Something doesn't feel right about this.

"What's going on Kee?" I asked.

"Ares, I am only doing this because I got permission to. I need you to keep this between the two of us though. You can't tell anyone. Not Mom, Dad, Tia, or your mate. No one." Kee said sternly. "Why?" I asked.

"Because no one is to know about this." She said.

"Know about what?" I asked.

Kee gave me a pained look. She chewed on her bottom lip as she thinks of what to say next. My little sister looks so perplexed.

Then Kee took a deep breath.

"You are about to replace out things about us that no one else knows Ares." Kee said.

"Us?" I asked.

Does she me our family? Our siblings? What us?

"Bexley, Nix, Vessa, and I." She said.

"What are you talking about Kee?" I asked her.

My patience is running out.

"You will see. Come, we don't have much time." She said.

Kee turned for my closet door. I raised a brow at her, but she didn't look at me. I followed Kee to my closet, wondering what the hell she's doing. Then she opened the door, and I gasped.

My closet isn't on the otherside though. No, on the other side of this door, is a completely different realm. Kee stepped through the doorway, and I followed after her. The door we came in slammed shut behind me, and then disappeared.

I looked around at the world. It's all dark, and ominous. We are surrounded by tall rick black trees. There is a thick fog covering the air. This place looks like an evil swamp.

Kee started walking forward. She's trudging through the knee deep swamp water. I didn't even notice it until she started walking. It's a milky brown color. I can't see through it at all.

"Come on Ares." Kee called.

I hurriedly caught up with my sister.

"What is this place?" I asked her.

"You don't recognize it?" Kee asked amused.

I raised a brow at her as we continued on.

"Uh, am I supposed to?" I asked.

Kee chuckled.

"This is the Centila Forest." She told me.

My eyes went wide, and I paused to look at her. Kee paused too, and turned her body to face me. She has no emotion on her face. Nothing that gives me an insight as to why we are in the middle of the most dangerous forest to ever exist. "You brought me to the death forest of the Fae realm? Why? I don't have time to battle with creatures Akeehla. I have a mate to replace." I said angrily.

Kee blinked at me, and then turned to keep walking.

"I didn't bring you here for fun Ares. We are going to see the Druids." She said.

"The Druids?" I asked as I caught up to her.

"Yes." Kee replied.

"Akeehla, what the fuck is going on? Druids don't exist. How are you even able to teleport to this place? Not even Grandpa comes here." I said. "Yes, because of the Druids." Kee stated. "But that's all in the past now. They are starting to warm up to other creatures again." She told me. "What the hell does that mean?" I asked.

"It means, that they might be willing to help us. As long as you pass their tests." She said.

"I don't have time for this!" I roared.

"Darian is using Druid magic to hide your mate. A Druid is the only one that can help. No matter how powerful you, and your mate are. This is our quickest, and safest option. Besides, this is a recruitment mission for you." She said.

"A recruitment mission?" I asked.

Kee nodded.

"Who are we recruiting?" I asked.

My little sister turned her glowing green eyes to me.

"You." She said.

"Me?" I asked.

"That's right." Kee said.

"And who is recruiting me exactly? The Druids?" I asked.

Akeehla is full of shit. I already work for the BOC. She knows that. Besides, I can't work for Druids. They aren't even supposed to exist anymore.

"For Grandpa." Kee said.

I whipped my head to my sister.

"You need to tell me what the fuck is going on. Now." I ordered.

"Vessa, Bexley, Nix, and me have all been working for Grandpa since we were 15. He has us go on similar missions that the BOC does, but this is different. We are collectors. Grandpa sends up to the places that everyone else is too afraid to go to. We do all sorts of things." She explained.

"The mission Bexley was talking about.." I mumbled.

Kee nodded.

"There is much more. More that you don't know. If you do well today, Grandpa will tell you everything." She said.

"There's more than just the four of your working for the Devil?" I asked angrily.

Kee nodded.

"All of those people you killed..." I trailed off.

Pieces are starting to fall together now.

"I didn't lose control. I was sent to kill them all." She said.

"Why?" I gritted out.

"Because that was my mission." Kee said stoicly.

"Why would you kill them all?" I asked.

Kee looked over to meet my eyes.

"No one I ever killed was innocent Ares. Afterall, what does the Devil need with innocent souls?" She said.

I guess she has a point, but still. Akeehla killed so many people then. She was unhinged. Truly deranged. Is she really telling me that all of those people were damned souls?

If that's true...

"You let everyone think you were a bad guy this whole time. Everyone lost trust in you. Mom, Dad, Tia.." I said.

"I know." Was all Kee replied with.

"How could you do that?" I asked her.

For once I didn't ask out of anger. My voice is calm. I just want to know the real reason why. Kee has been blamed for so much over the years. If these people were all really that bad, then why couldn't she tell us? Clear her name? Kee is more like Tia than we knew. Rex said.

Apparently.

Kee remained expressionless as she stared straight ahead.

"Better me then them." She mumbled.

What the hell does that mean?

"We're here." Kee said before I could ask the question out loud.
