Spoiled by Eight Uncles (Lily) -
Chapter 1527 Faith
"Is there any other place in the Nether where we can replace any Heaven and Earth spiritual treasures?!" Ivan asked anxiously. He believed that Lilly needed more spiritual force.
He held her hand as he channeled all his spirit aura toward her. Alas, it felt as though it was merely a drop in the ocean.
"I'll replace out!" Elder immediately left.
Fortune and the others also ran out, saying, "We'll help!"
"Yeah, there's strength in numbers!"
The Nether was full of dangers for Fortune and the others, especially at their current level. They couldn't even defeat the 'free-range chickens' around the area.
Still, they could feel it in their bones that if they couldn't replace any Heaven and Earth spiritual treasures for Lilly, the Nether might cease to exist.
Now, the sky of the Nether was almost touching the ground!
Anyone who wanted to mark a tick on their bucket list of 'touching the sky' could easily do so by jumping.
Alas, replaceing Heaven and Earth spiritual treasures was far from an easy task.
Fortune and the others ran straight to the 'sea' to replace the Spiral Turtle.
When Spiral Turtle heard what they had to say, it immediately blurted, "You mean you want me to cook me into stew just to replenish her spirit aura? No way! Not even in a million years!" Fortune fell to the ground, begging, "No! There's no stew involved. I just want you to give Lilly some spirit aura."
On the other hand, Elder went to replace a Gracehorn beast. Even though he was aware he couldn't defeat it, he was determined to at least trap it somehow.
Ivan couldn't wait for Elder and the others to return bearing Heaven and Earth spiritual treasures, and neither could Lilly.
After much thought, he finally came up with a potentially feasible solution.
He gritted his teeth, stripped his own The Order from his purple sphere, and transferred it to Lilly.
He and Lilly cultivated the same The Order.
His actions were equivalent to him sacrificing himself to save her.
His back was soaked with cold sweat. He had bitten his lips harshly, refusing to allow even a groan of pain to pass his lips.
He was afraid that if Lilly knew what he was planning, she would refuse.
Lilly sat cross-legged in the dark.
She couldn't break the Manifestation of God's will. However, the Manifestation of God's will couldn't crush her like a gnat. So, they were in an impasse. Although she was waiting for Ivan, she was shocked that she couldn't feel Radley or Earth Goddess. Instead, she felt a familiar The Order aura. It was his own The Order!
Lilly was shocked. Did he just strip his own The Order just to give it to her?!
Okay, regardless of whether they ignored the fact of whether she would accept it, she couldn't, even if she wanted to.
The Order was not spirit aura. Her purple sphere was partially sealed. So, even if she wanted it, she couldn't obtain it. Ivan could feel his The Order being pushed away!
He opened his eyes as he fell into deep thought. Could it be that Lilly's current difficulty was not a damaged purple sphere?
He clearly felt that half of her purple sphere was gone, indicating that her purple sphere was damaged.
Nonetheless, if it wasn't damaged, giving her The Order would be useless.
Ivan had no choice but to take The Order back. Unfortunately, this process was even more taxing than stripping it from himself.
It was no less severe than Lilly's serious injury.
He could only support her while thinking of a solution for Lilly. He couldn't leave her side because he was shouldering a heavy suppression!
Fortune and the others only felt that the "sky" was about to press down on the ground. Meanwhile, he truly felt The Order that was crushing the Nether pressing on him. If he left Lilly, The Order would crush her. When that happened, she would be attacked on both sides.
"What exactly does she need?"
Ivan recalled the sight of the Nether Chain fleeting past him.
Dragon Fang had disappeared. Nether Chain was also gone.
He wanted to give all the weapons he had in his possession to Lilly. Alas, it didn't seem that would be feasible.
Suddenly, he was struck with an epiphany. "She needs the Nether Chain!"
Even though Ivan knew what she required, he couldn't do anything about it.
If he went to search for the Earth Goddess, Lilly might face a devastating crisis. If he left her here, she would be attacked on both sides, leading to her demise.
Yet, if he didn't seek Earth Goddess out, he couldn't do anything else!
He and Lilly had been thoroughly trapped by the Manifestation of God's will. They were both stuck in the Nether, separated from the Earth Goddess and the others. Lilly knew she couldn't afford to wait any longer.
The darkness felt like tar, encroaching on her space. The more she waited, the more energy she consumed.
In the end, the spirit aura she had collected might all be consumed while she waffled around.
"Since that's the case, the only choice I can make is to fight!" Lilly suddenly snapped her eyes open and charged forward!
As long as she couldn't die in battle, she would fight to the death!
She believed in Dad. She had faith in everyone else.
She could definitely pull this off. She was confident that everyone would replace a way!
"Primordial Creation!"
"Primordial Creation!"
"Primordial Creation!"
Lilly roared again and again, breaking the darkness with her sword repeatedly.
She didn't know how long it had been!
All the strength in her body seemed to be drained after each slash.
She felt her legs turn into jelly as she fell from mid-air. She felt like Alice from Alice in Wonderland as she fell down the seemingly endless rabbit hole.
She felt herself constantly falling as wisps of darkness whipped past her.
A sense of despair involuntarily rose from the bottom of Lilly's heart.
Is this the end? I refuse to accept defeat like this!
She didn't even have the strength to hold Dragon Fang any longer. Dragon Fang had pressed itself to her hand, wailing in despair.
Lilly's fingers were trembling. She tried several times to flex her fingers around it. Alas, she had no strength left in her body.
It was at this moment that she realized what she had missed.
She was already severely weakened. Why hadn't the Manifestation of God's will killed her?
Wasn't its ultimate goal to erase her? Wasn't its endgame her death?
Lilly suddenly understood!
The Manifestation of God's will didn't want to kill her!
It wanted to replace her!
Wait a minute! Then, she's been looking at it all wrong!
She was now certain that it wanted to replace her because that's precisely what she was feeling right now. The Manifestation of God's will was trying to replace her.
Only when it itself was not the rightful one would the term 'replace' be used.
Could she be the Manifestation of God's will?!
No, that can't be right. The Manifestation of God's will could not reincarnate. It could only be destroyed and reborn.
The old Order would eventually be destroyed as The new Order rises from the ashes.
So, it should be her replacing the Manifestation of God's will, not the Manifestation of God's will replacing her. Still, if the Manifestation of God's will wanted to replace her, there was only one logical explanation for this entire farce!
She had already become the new Manifestation of God's will!
As the thought crossed her mind, the sensation of her falling abruptly stopped!
Lilly felt as if she had been slammed hard onto the ground. However, she couldn't give a d*mn.
"Hahaha! I get it now. I finally understand."
Lilly felt herself guffawing as she said gleefully, "So, I have been successful all along."
As it turned out, there was no need to dismantle the Manifestation of God's will.
It was just like the outdated feudal thoughts and beliefs of previous empires. There was no need to 'break' them.
She was akin to the emergence of a new technological civilization, gradually overshadowing the old civilization and ultimately creating a new world.
Civilization was an intangible concept. That was the same for the Manifestation of God's will.
Therefore, she had already 'broken' free from the constraints. She just hadn't realized it yet.
"No wonder you have been waiting... You intend to replace me. You want to take the new Order away from me in order to mend your worn-out garments. I'm sorry to burst your bubble. Have you ever seen an ancient king traverse time and space to defeat a modern leader? Do you think an ancient king could defeat a modern-day leader? Do you think he would be capable of stealing the advancements the modern world has made? No! If anything, all of that would only happen in reverse. There are plenty of books and dramas detailing a modern-day individual winning it all in ancient eras!"
She inhaled deeply before shouting, "According to that logic, there's no way you'll ever win against me!"
Boom!
The darkness began to collapse in itself. Nevertheless, it didn't cease its constricting hold upon Lilly as the onion layers only fused tighter upon her!
Lilly remained calm and composed; it was now a race against time between her and the old Manifestation of God's will.
She was changing. She was transforming the Nether, altering the underworld!
She could do it!
Still, before all that, she also had to break free from the beasts' soul phantom suppression. She needed another Nether Chain to do so!
Lilly whispered in her heart, Earth Goddess, I'm counting on you. I really need your help right now.
Blake and Earth Goddess set fire to the Order. They didn't bat an eye as they spat out blood while pushing the Nether Door.
Matthan was looking rather out of place with his overalls. He had no idea what was going on. All he could do was exert all his strength, trying to make the stupid door budge. He truly couldn't do anything else aside from that.
Nevertheless, an unseen force was added to the Nether Door alongside their efforts.
Ivan finally sensed something; his heart trembled as his momentum surged thousands of miles, heading straight for the Nether Door!
