Chapter 734 It's Him

Natalia punched him like nonstop.

Eventually, her wrists were clutched by the man. Next, she felt a large hand grab her waist and pull her to the ground while the man flipped over and rode on her instead.

This struck terror into Natalia.

Just as she prepared to resist again, suddenly, she heard a familiar voice.

"This is all you've got? You've forgotten everything I taught you back then?"

Natalia was dazed.

She looked up at him in disbelief.

The man was still holding her wrists in a tight grip. His clothes and hair were slightly messier due to their fight.

But his eyes were extremely sharp. Natalia even felt that his eyes were like cold, sharp knives that could stab her in the heart.

Shivering uncontrollably, she asked, "Who are you?"

She knew a few good fighters. But she couldn't imagine any of them appearing here at this time.

The man laughed when he heard her question.

A faint smile touched his sharp eyes. In a deep voice, he said, "Seven, how can you forget me so quickly? You can't even recognize my voice?"

Natalia shuddered. Her pupils dilated in astonishment.

"Felix Bissel! How come you -

"Shhh!"

Felix put his index finger on his lips, motioning for her to be quiet.

Then, he raised his head to glance at where the tricycle was parked and said, "Seven, drop your voice if you don't want to draw others here, understand?"

Natalia was incensed.

She never thought that this man before her was actually Felix in disguise.

And she had failed to see through his disguise!

She had had her heart in her mouth during the whole time. Felix must have noticed that. Yet, he didn't tell her what was really going on. It was obvious that he wanted to see her make a fool of herself. That was utterly despicable!

Through clenched teeth, Natalia demanded, "How come you're here?"

Felix grinned, not hastening to answer. Fiddling with a stray flock of hair on Natalia's cheek, he said, "Let's talk about me later. Do you still remember what you just said? You gotta keep your word." Natalia froze. When she thought of the kiss he forced her to give him, her blood boiled, and she wished she could bite his head off.

She said angrily, "Felix, how dare you? You wanna die?"

Felix chortled.

It seemed that he liked to make Natalia flare up. Perhaps it gave him a sense of achievement.

But Felix also knew that even a cute kitten would attack him if it was really irritating.

Thus, he stopped pulling her leg right after that.

He put on a serious look and said, "I heard you were in trouble, so I came here to look for you."

Natalia knitted her brow with suspicion.

"No way. It would take at least a week for you to fly here from Ambario and then come to this place. But how did you get here so fast?"

Felix screwed up his eyes and said, "You think I'm lying?"

Natalia sneered.

"You've got what you want. Does my life still matter to you?"

The man's eyes instantly turned lukewarm.

As he stared at Natalia, coldness gathered in his eyes.

"That's what you think of me?"

Natalia didn't reply.

But her pursed lips manifested her stubborn resistance.

Felix locked his eyes on her for quite a while. Eventually, he let go of her wrists and sat up.

An absurd vibe spread between the two. Felix no longer pursued this subject. But compared to his previous frivolous behavior, his attitude clearly grew more aloof.

He said in a low and deep voice, "Lately, there was a business opportunity around here, so I came to take a look. After I heard what happened to you, I hurried here from nearby."

Natalia found this explanation convincing.

She finally relaxed a little.

Realizing that Felix was still riding on her, she thrust him and urged, "Get up."

Now Felix's identity was exposed, he was no longer in the mood to tease Natalia. Thus, he quickly got to his feet.

After that, Natalia finally stood up. She dusted her clothes and asked, "Why were you with those guys? Also, what happened to your face?"

His face was wrinkled like a peasant's. He did not look like the man Natalia remembered at all.

Felix stroked his cheek and answered, "I'm wearing a mask."

"A mask?"

Natalia goggled at him in wonder.

"Yeah."

But Felix didn't seem to want to go into the details. He then remarked, "The two brothers are just ordinary people living in the town. The older brother happened to be working for one of my subordinates a couple of days ago."

"After I learned that you jumped from the plane, I narrowed down the area that you might land in. Then, I disguised as the older brother and came here to investigate."

"As soon as I arrived, I heard that the younger brother was planning to buy two girls your age. I immediately guessed that you and Nancy might have somehow landed in the hands of traffickers." "Thus, I decided to play along and helped him buy you two off. This way, I could make sure you wouldn't end up in other places."

After hearing this, Natalia had a rough understanding of Felix's sudden appearance.

She nodded and said, "I see. Thank you for doing this."

Felix narrowed his eyes.

This was the first time Natalia solemnly thanked him.

She was being much more courteous to him. But for some reason, compared with this polite and distant Natalia, Felix would rather see her being hopping mad as before. However, now was not the time to fuss over this.

He glanced at the car not far away and said, "Just let him drive you back to town first."

Natalia was a little undecided.

"But that man..."

Felix appeared to be amused.

"What? You're really worried that I'd sell you?"

Natalia compressed her lips.

Of course, she knew that wouldn't happen.

But as she had learned that the man who bought her was Felix, the other man was no longer a threat to her.

She and Nancy could just walk away. Thus, why should the two still ride their car and follow them back to town?

As if knowing what Natalia was thinking, Felix explained, "Those people have arrived in town. They must be looking for you everywhere. I still have something to do here. I can't leave for time being. So you two can only be safe if you stay with me."

After a pause, he added, "Of course, I won't force you to. It's just a piece of advice. If you insist on leaving on your own, just leave. But if anything happens to you later, don't hold me accountable"

Natalia cast a look at him.

Though she knew Felix was intentionally prodding her, she reluctantly swallowed her pride and accepted the reality.

Resigned, she said, "Fine. We'll go with you. Anyway, let's get to town first."

Felix nodded with satisfaction. He then straightened his shirt creased by Natalia and said, "Let's go back."
