Millie slowly approached and looked down out of curiosity.On the square, she found the Thomas Group’s employees engaged in a spirited snowball fight. Even Derek was in on the action.

Millie was taken by surprise. These professionals, typically so composed, looked like a bunch of joyful children playing in thesnow.

Marcus noticed her interest in the ongoing merriment downstairs. He smirked and said, “Are you interested in joining them?”Millie nodded. Having slept for what felt like ages, she was eager for some fresh air.
