While lost in thought, a man’s presence approached. Turning, Millie was surprised to see Leon approaching. She regarded himwith a mixture of confusion and uncertainty.

Leon didn’t waste words, opening with a sneer. “You used to greet me warmly. Do you think you don’t need to show respect nowthat you know | didn’t buy that special medicine for your grandmother?”
