After a while, Chad became way too much to handle. Every few minutes, he'd pester Molly with questions, driving her straight to the bathroom for some peace. But Chad, relentless as ever, camped outside the door, knocking every so often. "Ugh, so annoying," Molly muttered.

When she finally emerged, she found Chad determined to corner her into a discussion. Even with a gloomy expression, her beauty shone through. "Fine, let's just sleep! Go turn off the TV," she snapped.

With that, Molly headed upstairs. After shutting off the TV, Chad followed with a grin. "Early to bed, isn't that nice?" he chimed.

To his surprise, Molly returned to her room, grabbed her pink blanket, and headed out.

Seeing the pink blanket in her arms, Chad asked, "What are you doing?"

"Getting cozy," she replied.

Molly then proceeded to their master bedroom. Since the last renovation, Chad's room had transformed from a boyish space to one exuding mature masculinity, with dark tiles, their wedding photo on the wall, and Molly's beauty shots decorating the shelves. Dumping the blanket, Molly flopped onto the bed to sleep.

Chad, at a loss with Molly's antics, decided not to push her. He understood the importance of letting her adjust to their life together and joined her without a word.

Sleeping next to Chad was a new and uncomfortable experience for Molly, who had been used to sleeping alone for years. Wide awake now, she could hear Chad's breathing in the dark.

After a bit, Molly got up for a drink. "Need something?" Chad asked.

"Just water," Molly replied, replaceing the glass he'd prepared on the nightstand. After a few sips, she tried to settle down again, but the unfamiliar setting kept her awake.

Soon, she got up again, this time to go to the bathroom. Chad, checking on her, reminded her to sleep soon as he had work in the morning.

"Oh, alright," Molly mumbled, returning to bed.

Despite several attempts to sleep, dawn was breaking by the time Molly finally dozed off. Waking up as Chad prepared for work, she said, "Bro, I can't sleep here; I'm going back to my room."

Used to her own space, Molly found sharing a room with Chad challenging. "Weird, I never felt this way sleeping over at Mia's," she pondered.

Back home, Molly didn't dwell on the night's events, opting to catch up on sleep. When she finally woke up, she saw a slew of messages from Mia, asking what happened.

During their video call, Mia lounged in the backyard, soaking up the sun. "You should've seen Andre's face; it was all to cheer Dad up. I only had a two-hour nap as a 'punishment,' Leo had to cover for Una, and Anya watered the garden. That's it." Molly, feeling foolish, missed her nephew in the conversation. Mia showed him off, enjoying the sun with his dad on the lawn.

As Molly planned to spend the night at the Cedillo's, she quickly got ready. Before leaving, she noticed a skincare product on her vanity, the same one she thought she'd broken. Surprised, she found it was new and unopened.

Smiling, Molly decided to move all her skincare and beauty products into Chad's bathroom, replacing his men's shampoo with her own, along with conditioner, hair masks, and more.

Once done, she headed back to the Cedillo's, where the family was busy preparing for the wedding. Anya, the bridesmaid, hadn't opted for a custom dress, focusing instead on the joy of the occasion.

Mia held her child close. "My little guy might be small, but he's got more new outfits than days in the week. When his aunt ties the knot, my son's got three special new outfits, enough for two years. Isn't that right, mommy's little treasure?" Mia asked, gently pinching the little one's cheek. Bruce Cedillo had been away on business, scouting various districts, and had just returned when Naomi called out for him to try on some clothes.

Molly seemed hesitant to speak her mind in front of Mia. But Mia, knowing her friend's every subtle expression too well, got up, handed her son over to his dad, and said, "Hold your son for a bit. I'm going to try on a new dress, and Molly, you're coming with me." Molly quickly followed.

The little guy, having been cuddled by his dad for just a day, suddenly felt the absence of his mom's warmth. His tiny mouth turned into a pout, a sign he was on the brink of tears.
