Molly, exhausted but not quite ready to sleep, nodded in agreement.

Sometimes, Chad's relentless teasing got to her. She had twisted the bedsheets into wrinkles, her breathing all out of sync. Chad stopped and got up to take a shower.

Molly took the opportunity to text Mia, "Let's catch up next weekend. I'll come over to your place."

This time, Mia didn't reply.

When Chad returned to bed, Molly kept her distance, nearly sleeping diagonally to avoid him. Chad stretched out his arm, "Come on, let's sleep. I won't touch you."

Suddenly energized, Molly couldn't help but retort, "Pfft, as if I can believe a word men say." Chad sat up, and Molly immediately hid under the covers in fear.

Chad chuckled, then reached under the covers, pulling Molly, blanket and all, into his arms... Molly's experiences taught her that you really can't trust what men say.

The next morning, while everyone else went to the diner for breakfast, Molly slept in alone. Coleen glanced at her son, hinting, "Still not awake?"

Chad replied with a smile, "I'll bring her some breakfast later. She went to bed late last night."

Coleen laid down the law to the family, "When we get back, I'm bringing up Molly joining the company, and none of you are to coddle her."

Between Grandma Aubree, Grandpa Elmer spoiling their granddaughter, Kendrick doting on his daughter, and Chad loving his wife, they all indulged Molly. Only Coleen was trying her best to pull Molly out of her comfort zone. Because Molly "slept in," they didn't leave until nearly noon.

Eventually, they stopped for lunch at a local joint before heading home.

On the highway, it was just Chad and Molly in the car.

Molly was unfairly blamed for the morning's delay and was giving Chad the silent treatment.

Officer Chad, feeling guilty, confessed, "Mom's laid down the law. She wants you to start working at the company, and none of us are supposed to spoil you."

Molly retorted, "I'd rather work at the company and then go stay with the Cedillos. I'll keep my distance from you. Find someone else to play wife."

Chad glanced at her and asked in a good-natured tone, "Tired? Want to nap in the car?"

"Slept enough. Are we doing another 'workout' tonight?"

Officer Chad was at a loss for words.

Molly's phone rang - it was her friend, finally getting back to her.

"She had a long lunch break, so she came to the office to pick up her son. After lunch, while watching her son play, she sent Molly a video of the little guy, "Henry wanted to video call you last night but couldn't reach you." Seeing her beloved nephew, Molly suddenly remembered something.

She put down her phone, looking puzzled at Chad, "Did you... remember protection these last few times?"

Chad was taken aback.

Seeing his silence, Molly was stunned.

When they got home, it was already late afternoon. After sending the family off and unloading the luggage, Chad rushed back out.

By evening, Molly noticed something all too familiar on her bedside table - a box and a pregnancy test.

"Chad, these companies really know how to do business. A box of condoms with a free pregnancy test? What, in case the first product fails, you have to use the second?"

Chad emerged from the bathroom, "I bought those."

Molly eyed him, "For you to use?"

Officer Chad: "...For you."

Molly rolled her eyes, took a shower, and went straight to her room. Tonight, she wasn't entertaining any man.

The next day, Molly woke up unusually early.

Coleen noticed the early sun, "The sun's up in the west today, huh? My daughter's up before eight?"

Molly played along, "Mom, I come from Venus."

Grandma Aubree was puzzled, "Venus? Like a superstar?"

"No, Grandma. On Venus, the sun rises from the west."

Soon, Chad joined them, overhearing Molly's conversation with her grandparents. He peeled an egg and placed it on Molly's plate.

The soy milk was just the right temperature, and Chad poured some for everyone.

"Molly, time to eat."

Molly picked up her fork, "Grandma, let's plan to visit Mercury, Mars, Jupiter..."

Grandma Aubree found it all fascinating, every day felt like storytime with her granddaughter.

Later, Molly made a quick trip to her parents' house.

Upon leaving, she took the Cedillos' treasured little one with her.

Hansen, fuming, called his son-in-law, "Chad, how many times have I told you not to bring your wife over? You can come, but why bring Molly? You trying to give me a hard time?"

Just when he had his precious grandson to himself for a bit, he woke from a nap to replace out, "The mistress and the master visited, and the mistress took little Leo with her."

In the Byrne family living room, everyone adored the little guy, all taking turns to play with him.

Chad alone faced his father-in-law's criticism, "Molly likes kids. If you're so capable, have one of your own. Snatching others', how interesting."

"You and Molly, ever since getting married, she can't leave her family alone. When you took her away, what did you promise me?"

"The more I think about it, the angrier I get. Chad, if you dare let Molly come back here, we're done, unless you give me a granddaughter. Only then will you be welcome in the Cedillos' door."

Chad felt immense pressure, "Dad, Molly and I aren't planning on kids just yet." There were too many good times ahead to rush into parenthood.

Hansen grew even angrier, "Don't want kids? Then stop stealing mine!"

On the sofa, Molly cuddled the little treasure, showering him with kisses and caresses. "Henry, say 'auntie'. Auntie loves you the most." "Ah-gah-goo," babbled the baby.

Kendrick couldn't resist and scooped up the little munchkin from his daughter's arms, his eyes brimming with affection. "Bruce hasn't stopped talking about how adorable his nephew is at work. He always said we had to see it to believe it. And now, I get it. This kid is just too cute." Molly propped her head on her hands, a playful glint in her eyes. "Hey little buddy, how about you show Uncle Kendrick a good cry? Let him see just how adorable you can be even when you're sobbing."

But the little guy was in a splendid mood lately, not shedding a single tear. He had grown bolder, unafraid to make funny faces and bursting into giggles instead.

Molly turned to the baby's mom, who was caught up in her online parenting class. "Hey Mia, what's the secret to getting your son to cry?"

Mia was baffled. "Are you kidding?"

"I've kidnapped your son for a bit; he's over at our place. But everyone's dying to see Henry throw a fit."

"Just call his name. That'll do it," Mia replied almost instantly, a hint of mischief in her tone.
