"He's the kind of guy who can watch the top ten scariest horror movies like they're just light entertainment." Mia nailed it. Anya was even more amazed. "He's that fearless?"

With a warm introduction, Mia continued, "Not only is he fearless, but he also works in the horror industry. Michael is a professional scare actor at the amusement park. He's been doing it for years and has even been voted the scariest by visitors. He's dedicated, and because of his convincing performances, he once got beaten up by a scared visitor and ended up in the hospital."

After Mia finished, she changed her son's clothes and effortlessly tossed him onto the bed. Henry rolled around, giggling, lying on his stomach, rolling over, sitting up, and looking up at his adorable mom.

Mia opened Henry's wardrobe, pulled out clothes of various thicknesses, and started packing them into her storage bags. "Even though Auntie now charges a fee to deal with Leo, I feel bad for you, so I'll give you two ideas to get back at him. Pick whichever you like." Anya was full of questions. "Auntie, why do you feel bad for me?"

As she put Henry's toothbrush into a box, Mia said, "If I hadn't insisted on keeping you with the Cedillo family and trying to set you up, would you and Leo be in this mess?"

Anya shyly looked down, holding Henry's chubby little ankle. "Even without Auntie, I've always liked Chad."

Henry, feeling uncomfortable, bent over to push away Anya's hand.

"So, Auntie, what are your ideas?" Anya asked.

Mia folded Henry's towel and put it in the bag. "Option one: Michael is quite charming. You take Leo to the amusement park, and I'll have Michael chase after you. Option Two: Michael is also pretty gutsy. You take Leo to the haunted house at the amusement park, and I'll have Michael and his friends specifically scare Leo." Anya shook her head. "No, I'd be sad if Chad wasn't worried about me. And I'd feel bad if Michael scared Chad too much."

Mia commented, "You lack spirit."

Anya nodded in agreement, looking at Henry. "Both of us lack spirit."

Henry, with his chubby face, didn't like what Anya said.

"My son has plenty of spirit." Mia glanced back at her son's history from the moment he started making sounds, picked him up, and kissed him. "Right, my son?"

Anya watched Mia quickly pack the luggage. "Auntie, why are you packing clothes for the baby? Where is he going?"

Mia picked up the chubby doll on the couch, her maternal love radiating as she held Henry in her arms and walked out the door. "I'm planning to take a trip abroad with your uncle after my exams are over. He went out today to handle Henry's travel documents. I didn't expect it to be such a hassle for a little kid to travel abroad. His dad went to take care of it this afternoon."

The plump Henry lay on his mom's shoulder, happily sucking on his little fat paw, contentedly entertaining himself.

In the evening, Andre came back with the documents. "Mia, tomorrow I'll take our son to get his passport photo taken. They need it to be done on-site."

Mia replied, "Sure, our son's passport photo needs to look adorable since we'll be using it for many years."

Seeing Anya, Andre asked, "Finished with your exams?"

Anya obediently nodded. "Uncle, can I not go home this summer?"

Anya knew who her father revered and who Chad feared the most.

With just one word from Uncle, she could be free.

Andre knew the girl's thoughts but deliberately stayed out of it. "Go home for the holidays, spend some time with your parents. When you have time, go on a trip with friends."

Anya frowned. "Uncle, you sound just like Chad."

"Of course, your Chad was raised by my husband too. How could they not be similar?" Mia added. "But I still have to say, Leo is no match for my husband."

The sweet-talking Mrs. Cedillo walked up to her husband and pushed the little meatball into his arms. "Your dad's back, go give him a kiss."

Soft and fragrant, Henry hugged his dad's face, continuously saying, "Dad, dad, daddy."

Andre held his son with one hand, continuously responding.

These days, Anya also received frequent calls from her parents asking when her exams would end, wanting to pick her up.

"I don't want you guys to pick me up. Chad said he would take me home."

Anya had been scheming these days, always coming to the Maplewood Estates to help look after the kids for her uncle, trying to gain favor. "Uncle, can you tell my mom and dad not to make me go home?"

Andre firmly refused, and later, fearing Anya would bring more childcare tasks, he even took his kids to the office.

In the evening, while Mia was bathing her son, she video-called her sister Molly. "Anya is still naive. Both of us can't outsmart my husband with our cunning, and this girl doesn't realize she can't pull off her little tricks under my husband's watch." Molly replied, "Not just naive, but also silly. No matter what she does, you and Andre would never call her parents to ask them to let her stay. They only have one daughter; how can we monopolize her for a year?"

Mia said, "When it comes to matters concerning Leo, Anya thinks of everything. When it's about her own affairs, she's too lazy to think."

After talking, Mia lifted her son out of the bathtub. "Why are you alone tonight? Where's your Chad?"

"He's on the night shift. Tonight is a paradise for ladies."

Looking at the phone and seeing her nephew's soft and pale back, Molly said enviously, "I finally understand why the female demons in Journey to the West always wanted to eat Tang Sanzang. Now, looking at my little nephew, I really want to take a bite!" "Talking about my son, Molly, you've been married for a while too. When are you planning to have kids?"

Molly replied, "If the kid is like Henry, Chad and I would like a few more years of peace."

Hearing his name, little Henry tried to turn his head to look at the screen at his aunt, but alas! His neck was too short, and he couldn't see her.

The two chatted for a bit more, Mia listening to her best friend vent about work, and Molly listening to her best friend vent about Henry.

They occasionally talked, easing the fatigue in their hearts and feeling much more relaxed.

Anya hadn't visited Leo for several days, and Leo couldn't help but call her. "Got scared? Not coming to see your Chad anymore?"

Anya replied, "Chad, I've been helping my uncle take care of the baby."

Leo asked, "Doesn't his family have a nanny? Why do they need you?"

"It wasn't my uncle who asked for me. I came here voluntarily." Trying to please her uncle, hoping to stay.
