Talented Martial Hero
Chapter 1526 Dissatisfaction Of The Human Race

All the human masters present knew of the tomb keepers and their abilities.

They were the deputy gods of the human race, each of them possessing considerable power. Someof them were ascetic cultivators and were even stronger than other tomb keepers.

But who was Heath?

The ancestor had mentioned him specifically, saying he would only make his decision once Heathhad returned. Most of the human masters here knew nothing of him.

Seeing as the ancestor placed such great value on him, his cultivation base and status must besomething to behold. Because of this, no one dared inquire about him casually. They decided theyhad to show much respect for him.

The human masters waited in the Ancestral Land for three days, but the tomb keepers had still notarrived. They were all getting restless now. What if those damn witchers decided to help Darrenbreak through to the Superior God Realm on their own?

They grew equally uneasy and terrified.

"Ancestor, when will the tomb keepers make their return?”

Lord Feng finally stood out and spoke up.

"You are getting impatient as well?"

The ancestor did not show himself. It was a guard in a black robe that responded to him.

"It's more that I can't wait to enter the abyss than anything else,” Lord Feng said, his face devoid ofany expression.

"Ha ha."

Someone beside him laughed disdainfully and said in a tone rife with hostility, "If you want to die, just go on with Starry Sword. I will not be joining you on that fool's errand. Humph!"

Many of them were unhappy with how Lord Starry Sword and Lord Feng protected Darren. Theythought to themselves that if Darren did die, perhaps there would not be such trouble now.

The situation was currently not likely to go well. It was very probable that Darren would bringdisasters to all the human masters.

Lord Feng ignored the man, he had no time to waste arguing with these cowards.

"What is it? You know how wrong you are and so you will not respond?”

"You and Starry Sword are indeed famous in the illusion world. But don't think for a second that youcan actually lead the human race. You still have much to learn.”

"I say we punish the two of them first.”

Many human masters agreed and began pointing their fingers threateningly at Lord Starry Swordand Lord Feng.

They were getting more and more aggressive now, mocking and cursing. Some even released theirgod's senses, preparing for a fight.

Boom! Boom!

The entire square trembled as the tension rose. Lord Starry Sword and Lord Feng sprung up into theair at the same time.

Lord Feng glanced down at the crowd contemptuously, and growled at them, "You cowards, ifyou've got a problem with us, come up here and fight!"

His thunderous roar echoed though the sky and across the land.

"You're only at the top level of the Superior God Realm. You're terribly overestimating yourself.Allow me to teach you two stupid things a lesson in humility!"

replied an old man with a gourd in his hand angrily. Several people then rushed over in an instant."Lord Starry Sword, this man is barely enough to warm me up. I'll leave this one to you," Lord Fengsaid scornfully.

Lord Starry Sword glanced at the old man unimpressed, before closing his eyes. He didn't evenbother looking at him any longer.

The man was at the middle-level of the Deputy God Realm; this was nothing to Lord Starry Swordand Lord Feng

"How dare you, you insolent little nothings! You're going to get it now!"

The old man burned with rage and threw the gourd he was holding. It soared through the air andshot golden lights out that darted at Lord Feng.

"To hell with you!" thundered Lord Feng.

The winds whipped and clouds gathered as the lightning lit up the entire Ancestral Land.

The booming crack of thunder rang out and Lord Feng's bellow dispersed the old man's goldenlight and penetrated into his mind.

Puff!

The old man suffered no impact but he vomited blood violently and his aura lowered as his breathof life was about to vanish as well

"What's going on?"

Everyone was shocked. They had not expected Lord Feng to have become so powerful.

They were not in the illusion world now! A deputy god in the real world was much stronger thanone in the illusion world of human race.

Lord Feng had almost killed the old man at the middle-level of the Deputy God Realm with only histhunderous voice. It was horrible and frightening to witness.

"He... He must have become a deputy god. His cultivation level has improved so greatly!"

"This doesn't make sense. How could a warrior so powerful not be at the Deputy God Realm?" Thepeople spoke among themselves in wonderment.

Lord Starry Sword and Lord Feng had been at the top level of the Superior God Realm for manyyears. They had never shown signs of upgrading to the Deputy God Realm. Everyone guessed thatperhaps they had remained at their original realm on purpose in order to become stronger in thefuture.

In the illusion world, they were still capable of taking down warriors at the top level of Deputy GodRealm even though they hadn't reached that level yet. It was truly incredible.

Now that Lord Feng's cultivation level had improved, just how strong had he become?

Perhaps only the tomb keepers would be able to deal with him now.

Everyone fell silent when they saw his strength in action. They would not dare provoke such a toughman again.

"That was quite impressive. Would you care to show me a few moves?"

asked a guard in a black robe as he flew over. This caused an uproar among the others.

The black-robed guards were responsible for guarding the Ancestral Land all their lives and nevertook the initiative to challenge anyone.

But now, one of the guards could not help be drawn to the immense strength Lord Feng displayed.More to it, the black-robed guard's challenge meant the ancestor was equally impressed, and hemight want to know the true power of Lord Feng and Lord Starry Sword.

"Seriously?" Lord Feng asked, glancing at the guard in a black robe, his eyes filled with derision.

All it took was his gaze to have everyone surprised and on edge again. The one stood before himwas a black-robed guard of the Ancestral Land! And yet he still had the cheek to look down uponhim.

He was far too arrogant!

"Young man, I was once just as arrogant as you, when I was at your level. I eventually subduedmyself when I learnt an important lesson; there is always someone stronger than me,” the guardresponded coldly.

His words revealed something interesting; he had cultivated much longer than Lord Feng. His realmmust then be much higher than Lord Feng's.

"Oh, so you seriously want to have a go with me?" asked Lord Feng coolly. He then continued, seeming totally unfazed by the threat in front of him, "How about this? If you can take three of mymoves and don't spit blood horrendously, I'll admit defeat to you."

What incredible cockiness! He would dare to show off like this? Even some tomb keepers would notbe so bold as to utter such things in front of the black-robed guard.

Every black-robed guard in the Ancestral Land came from the supreme gods’ cemetery. Theythemselves were once powerful tomb keepers.

"Then ready your first move. Let's play your little game," agreed the guard.

Lord Feng was poised to attack when he felt the strong aura coming off the black-robed guard.

A patterned spear suddenly materialized in his hand. He stabbed the guard with a heavy one-handed thrust.

The light on the tip of the spear circulated and the god's power fluctuated around it. The space thespear passed through rippled out like water.

This was the real human land, a world containing the chaotic energy. Lord Feng's spear could twistand fluctuate the fabric of space and this astonished everyone present.

The guard in the black robe wore a mask of seriousness, remaining sturdy.

The spear's power was jarring and savage, and not at all easy to dodge.

The guard in the black robe raised his arms and crossed them in front of his chest. A blood red lightthen instantly burst forth.

Bang!

When the tip of the spear collided with the blood red light, the god's power collapsed layer by layerand the light streamed into the sky.

"Look, the guard's god's power has collapsed!"

No one could believe their eyes; the blood red light dispersed under the spear's impact.

"Here's the second move!"

Lord Feng shattered the blood red light, and immediately launched his second attack.

Boom! Boom!

The heaven and earth shook. Lord Feng's spear split into eight parts, each of them piercing into thespace around the guard. In the blink of an eye, they launched towards the guard, stopping right upagainst his throat, pushing on it ever so slightly.
