Talented Martial Hero -
Chapter 1556 Reappearance Of the Mysterious Man
The nine powerful spiritual senses could have only come from the nine chief gods.
The very moment the tenth chief god was about to awaken and ascend to his position had nowarrived.
Boom! Boom!
The vast god's power surged forward like a torrential tidal wave, so violent it collapsed the void inthe depths of the universe.
It did not take long for the turbulent ocean of god's power to attract the attention of the BalanceLaw.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Black lightning struck down deep into the bottom of the ocean of god's power. The dark gold bodythat lay at the bottom, dead still and silent, was struck and had a spark ignited within it. Suddenly, its eyes opened wide.
"Ah!"
He let out a begrudging roar filled with anguish.
The nine chief gods were finally about to get what they wanted; they were going to destroy him!Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The most powerful Chief God Character in history launched from the brain of the awakening tenthchief god. It was made of nine God Characters shaped like pyramids.
The Chief God Character spun wildly, shattering the black lightning and absorbing it.
The nine chief gods were stunned and growled in fear. They had not expected this.
"Killing Source.”
"Destroying Source."
"Soul-breaking Source.”
The nine powerful sources of god's power that had never been seen before, attacked the tenth chiefgod who had not yet successfully awakened and ascended to his position.
Once the source power was released, no matter the strength of the tenth chief god's God Character,it would not be able to fend off the joint attack of the other nine chief gods. Even if he hadsuccessfully become a chief god, it would still be impossible for him to take on all other nine chiefgods at once. He would no doubt be wiped out for the sake of balance.
The tenth chief god's body was on the brink of collapse from the intense assault of the ninepowerful sources.
"Ah!"
He roared again, trying with all he had to rush out of the Kingdom of the Chief Gods, but he wasforced back by the nine chief gods.
Cracks crept all over his body, every crack so large and gaping as if there was a world in it.Whoosh!
He was about to collapse when his Chief God Character divided into nine and one of the fragmentsexploded. The entire ocean of god's power sloshed and shook violently, drowning the nine chiefgods.
A Balance Law began gathering from the depths of the universe.
The nine chief gods growled with displeasure but dared not react any further.
The remaining eight Chief God Character fragments began bursting from the ocean and flying off indifferent directions.
A tiny figure then appeared in the Kingdom of the Chief Gods. He rushed over desperately, throwing caution to the wind.
In the Purple-crystal King's mind, everything stopped and he could see nothing clearly.
The Purple-crystal King came back to his senses and went on to retrieve the God Characters fromthe fallen chief god's projections. With this, he'd be able to strengthen his Killing Source. Once theKilling Source was rooted in his Chief God Character fragment, he would also then be capable ofobtaining the Power of Belief and be able to generate the Killing Source himself. It would then bepossible for him to take his place as the second Killing Chief God.
Heath and the others fought hard and struggled through their tough battles before they burst forthin hot blood and boiling anger. The exceptional power they gave off rebounded and suppressed theremaining chief god's projections
Every ascetic cultivator lost their cool, howling and fighting desperately. Some time passed andmore than half of the chief god's projections were destroyed. Not many were left.
“Phew!”
Darren let out a long sigh of relief. It seemed as though he was going to make it through, finally.Crack!
Thick, ominous clouds formed once more all across the sky and thousands of dark gold rayssuddenly streamed down.
"What's going on?"
Darren's heart shuddered and his eyes were almost ripped from his face from disbelief.
He knew exactly what these beams of dark gold rays meant; thousands of new chief god'sprojections had descended. What madness!
What could they possibly hope to do against this?
Even Lord Feng and Lord Starry Sword could not hide their angst. How many projections did a chiefgod have? Wasn't producing so many hard for them, or did it not take a toll on them?
The ascetic cultivators hovered in midair, exhausted and desperate for any relief.
They had only just realized victory, doing all they could to gain an advantage. An advantage thatwas now easily destroyed and reduced to nil. Their strength was already depleted. What did theyhave left to use to deal with the new projections?
"Ha-ha," chuckled Heath miserably.
He stared at the rays of dark gold light blankly with a bitter smile drawn across his face. It seemedthat all hope had been drained from him.
"Why! Why am I not a real supreme god? Why?" he cried out with his head raised to the sky.
Only then did he realize just how unreachable the step up was.
Advancing to a supreme god was a move between two completely different worlds and it was as ifthere was an impassable gulf separating one from the other.
"Kill! Kill! Kill!" Heath's pursuit had driven him almost to insanity. His ferocious cries concerned theascetic cultivators and made their hearts race.
"Heath, calm yourself!"
"Don't do this, Heath. Continue like this and you may lose your warrior spirit and turn into amadman!"
It was useless trying to get through to him. It seemed he could already no longer hear their cries. His eyes turned red and he grew more and more restless, seemingly struggling against somethinglurking within him.
"Heath!"
an ascetic cultivator yelled out and flew over to comfort him.
Bang!
To everyone's surprise, Heath flung the cultivator away without mercy. It seemed Heath was lost tothem.
"What's he done? What's happening?”
Everyone was asking the same questions as the signs were clear; Heath was about to lose his mind. When a powerful human warrior lost his spirit and faith as a martial artist, his mind would no longerbe his and he wouldn't be a normal human.
Once this happened, all his suppressed negative emotions would bubble up and take control of hisbody and soul. He would be made into something terrifying beyond comprehension.
"You lack a little bit of warrior spirit. If you had enough, you would've stepped into the SupremeGod Realm already," came a calm voice from out of nowhere.
A figure shrouded in a mysterious fog suddenly appeared at Heath's side.
He took a few steps forward, the countless black iron chains on his body clinking crisply.
"It's him!" bellowed Darren.
He recognized the mysterious figure the moment he laid eyes on it, and it was the one he had metin the chief god's projection’s Space of Belief. There was no way he could be mistaking him.
The others were still confused. Who the hell was he? Where had he come from? How did he gethere so easily?
"Stop right where you are! Don't get any close to Heath! Who are you?" Several ascetic cultivatorswanted to charge over to stop him, but discovered that all of a sudden, much to their dismay, theywere unable to move. Even the god's power in their bodies seemed to have been frozen and couldnot be mobilized.
The mysterious man raised his hand and pressed it on Heath's back, not paying attention to anyonearound him.
Waves of black aura flowed from Heath's limbs and deep within his bones.
"Argh! Argh! Argh!" Heath's face twisted in anguish as he struggled dreadfully in excruciating pain.He was growing increasingly manic and the ascetic cultivators looked on in worry. What was thismysterious man who had appeared out of the blue doing?
At the same time, thousands of chief god's projections arrived, condensing into huge dark goldbodies that began releasing killing intent to attack the ascetic cultivators.
The mysterious man raised his head but did nothing to stop them. However, the next moment, afaint yellow god's power burst out in a circle that radiated from him.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
Every projection in the god's powers path was cut in half with ease!
“Ah! Ah!"
"Supreme god! He's got the power of a supreme god!"
"He... he's Shipley, Supreme God Shipley!"
Everyone's mind was abuzz. The one who had the human shape and could release the supremepower was none other than Shipley, who had been out of sight and mind for a very long time. Hewas actually here in front of them!
"Greetings, Supreme God Shipley!"
Every ascetic cultivator got to their knees and bowed, their emotions all over the place.
"Please, there is no need to worship me. I'm probably the most incompetent supreme god in thehistory of the human race.”
He spoke with his palm still pressed firmly on Heath's back. Heath slowly calmed down and returnedto as he had once been.
"Thank you, sir!"
Heath was finally back to his senses, and the first thing he sensed was that the person beside himwas a supreme god of the human race. He was expectedly startled.
