After Darren continuously assimilated the bloody red plants, he had arrived the ninth stage of theMysterious Realm. All at once an idea popped into his head.

“Since it is useless to assimilate those plants right now, will it have the same effect if I directlyassimilate the blood in the pool?’ Darren thought to himself. It was uncertain, but it was also worthto try. At the thought of it, he immediately used his spiritual sense and started to assimilate theblood in the pool.

But his luck ran out. The blood didn’t contain the same power as the plant had. It was a pity asDarren was expectant.

After a few seconds, a strange sound was heard coming from the lake that alarmed Darren.

With lightning speed, Darren turned around and found that numerous bubbles rose to the surface.It attracted Darren's attention and curiosity.

"Hum? There is fresh red fruit in the center of the lake?" Darren asked himself. Like a kid, Darren'seyes brightened in excitement.

Without thinking too much, he impulsively flew toward it without hesitation, but an enormouspower blew toward him and blocked his way.

Hearing a roar of the dragon coming from the lake, Darren saw that the blood pool boiled with rageand emitted strong power from the water. Some bloody red shadows emerged from the lake andrevealed half of their bodies. In the blink of an eye, they fiercely dashed toward Darren.

It was the real form of the dragon, the bloody red dragon!

Darren was taken aback when he felt the tremendously intense power emitted from those bloodyred shadows of dragons. It was much more powerful than the North Monster King. He didn't evenhave the courage to flee and stood still as a rock in the air. It was too dangerous.

When Darren trembled with fear, those bloody red shadows of dragons cast glances at Darren, andit felt as though they were feeling and testing him. In the next moment, they stirred up a huge waveof blood water and sank into the lake, disappearing completely like they never existed. It was a verybizarre thing to witness.

When they were out of sight, Darren took a deep breath. The tension in his system gradually toneddown.

After recovering from the shock, Darren contemplated, “Why didn't they appear when I sank into theblood pool? It probably had something to do with the red fruit I had seen before. Were theyprotecting it? But why did they leave? Probably because after I assimilated those bloody red plants,my body emitted a familiar aura to them, so they thought that I was a dragon just like them." Darrenkept making wild guesses. It was the only explanation he could replace. Darren was still shocked by thedragons’ sudden appearance.

However, he didn't worry about it anymore and flew toward the lake to take the red fruit. Finally, hewas able to grasp it.

As he picked the fruit, he indulged himself in the aroma of the fresh fruit. Then, he came back to hissenses, and directly put it into the Space Ring.

All of a sudden, the wind started to pick up and the surface of the lake became choppy. A blood redshadow of man suddenly popped out from the water. It happened so fast that left him completelydumbfounded.

"Ahhh!"

Those shadows of the Blood Dragon emerged from the lake again and aimed for the man who hadpopped out. It seemed that the dragons caught a prey.

"Ah!" Feeling worried, Darren was totally taken aback by the experience, gasping for air. The powerof the dragon shadows and that human was so intense that he was pushed back in numerousstrikes.

Eyebrows twitched, Darren observed the current situation from a distance. In the blink of an eye, theBlood Dragon caught hold of the human. That human was so exhausted that he looked deathly paleand almost faint. It seemed that he was badly injured before, so he had to use up all his forces toescape from the dragon. It would only be a matter of time before the man would be eaten up alive.'It is absolutely certain that he will die in the battle. Ugh, this is too dangerous and frustrating. Do Ineed to save him from the danger? Why is there no one here?" Darren thought to himself.

Seeing that the human was about to be broken into pieces by the Blood Dragon, Darren lost inthought. His conscience overpowered him, it was too stubborn to listen at his rational self. Heshould save that human. So after he hesitated for a short moment, he immediately emitted the auraof dragon blood and turned it into a ray of light and sent it toward them.
