But Shela stomped on the pillbox, “Wait up, Letitia, what’s this pill for?”

Shela was pressing down hard, “You seem pretty freaked out… Let me see.”

Letitia sprang into action, lifting her foot with one hand, and digging for the pillbox with the other. But itwas too late.

“This pill… isn’t it for emergency contraception? Shela said, “Letitia, why are you taking this?”

The moment she spoke, Shela got it, “You, you were with Mr. Ramirez last night…”

While Shela was still stunned, Letitia snatched the pillbox and stuffed it into her bag, not looking backas she made her exit.

She hadn’t gone far when Shela caught up, grabbing her hand, “Hold up, Letitia, you can’t just walkaway,”

We’re going to see Mr. Ramirez! Shela announced, “You sneaking around, popping pills behind hisback!”

Letitia denied it, “I have no clue what you’re babbling about.”

“Cut the crap, Shela laughed, “If Mr. Ramirez didn’t want you to have kids, he’d take precautions orgive you the pill himself right after and watch you swallow it. No way he’d let you buy and take the pillyourself!”

Now Shela’s brain was firing on all cylinders! Her chance to turn the tables had come!

“Heh, ’cause you’re acting all guilty!” Shela boasted, Mr. Ramirez, you should take a look at what’s inthat pillbox!”

Letitia instinctively covered her bag.

If only she knew, she would’ve dry swallowed that pill without a second thought!

Letitia, Elgin asked, “what’s the pill, show me.”
