She uttered and I smiled. I was led to the fields afterwards where Scarlett was waiting for me.

When our eyes met, she smirked at me. Just like me, she had a purple bun around her blonde hair,

"This is going to be an easy win." She uttered, but I ignored whatever she was saying, and took a deep breath in. We both started and luckily, I saw most of her blows coming, so I was able to dodge them. This was just the beginning, and I couldn’t I couldn’t throw any blow, which Scarlett wouldn’t see coming. I had to come up with a perfect distraction first,

Clara was at the steps staring at me nervously and the very moment I got distracted by Dexter’s presence, Scarlett pushed me thankfully I was able to hold my balance so I didn’t fall,

I whispered and when I saw that she was no longer struggling with me, I pulled her arm backward and when she winced in pain, I kicked her knees so they would go weak and she instantly fell,

"Oh my goodness! You won! You fucking won, Amelia." Clara yelled, but I remained at my spot, trying to process what had just happened. I fucking won. I darted my gaze toward Dexter and saw a smile on his face as he stared at me and I couldn’t help but smile back at him,

"No! You fucking bitch..." Scarlett yelled and before I knew what was going on, she rushed at me, grabbed my hair and I felt something sharp pierce through the flesh in my abdomen,I let out a loud painful gasp as she let go of me instantly and began moving backwards while I fell on my knees, watching Dexter rush towards me. He pushed Scarlett away and went on his knees instantly.

"Seize her and throw her into the dungeons immediately," Dexter yelled out loud as he held me in his arms,

"No! Dexter, you can’t do this to me. Let me go, you bastard!" Scarlett yelled as she was being dragged away,

"Get a fucking doctor, Clara, now!"

Damn it! I couldn’t heal fast like other wolves.

"Amelia, hey, stay with me, love; I won’t let any damn thing happen to you," Dexter muttered to me. I could feel so much pain and blood gushing out,

I never really believed Dexter would choose me over Scarlett and for once, I was so proud that her fake tears didn’t move him this time around. While I struggled to breathe, Dexter held me closely in his arms, "I.... it hurts," I murmured to him with so much strength that I thought I would pass out afterward. I was this close to seeing my mother and I wasn’t going to let that slide

"N.., no Amelia, don’t shut your eyes. There’s still a fucking lot I wanna tell you. There’s still so much I have to tell you so hold on tight and don’t shut your damn eyes." Dexter half yelled and when I fluttered my brows slowly, I certainly thought I saw a tear roll down from his eyes,

I had no idea why I was extremely so weak,

"I still haven’t told you that I fucking love you. I don’t like you, Amelia, I’m fucking in love with you so...." That was the last I heard before I shut my eyes and slid into darkness.
