Chapter 26-1

10 Days Later:

I stood in front of the mirror staring at myself. There were no changes in any part of my body or even any reactions.

Was I really pregnant? I was supposed to be after the insemination. I shut my eyes in silence and said a few words of prayer to the moon goddess before stepping away from the mirror.

I had to be pregnant else Dexter would have his way with me.

As soon as I was done getting ready, I grabbed my bag and looked at the empty bed. Dexter had left the room a few days back when he had successfully managed to break down the lock of the remaining rooms, but to me, things were different sleeping all by myself in this big room

I stepped out of the room and began heading downstairs when suddenly the door to Dexter’s room opened and a lady walked out first,

I clutched my fingers, my breath growing hard as I stared at her, but when Dexter stepped out of the room, I let go and exhaled deeply,

"You were so fucking rough." She uttered as she tried to touch him, but he held her arm and pushed it aside,

"You got everything you wanted, and more for your service, so walk away," Dexter uttered coldly and I cleared my throat aloud just to make him know I was standing a few steps away from them,

"You’re ready, let’s go." He uttered and began walking away while the bitch remained in her position. As I walked past her, I scoffed out loud,

"I made arrangements. We’ll be leaving next week so get ready." He uttered as we stepped out of the car. As usual, he didn’t allow me to respond as I watched him walk away, heading towards the hospital.

I trailed behind him until we got to the doctor’s office,

"I’ll wait outside." He uttered and stepped out. Through another door, I was led to my ward and I gently laid down in the bed,

"Are there any symptoms?" She questioned, but I shook my head, and she widened her eyes while I chose not to conclude it was bad news.

"We’ll carry out a pregnancy test first to confirm."

I nodded my head and after my blood was taken, I laid back on the bed and began to wait. Shockingly, there was one person that I couldn’t let out of my mind and it was Dexter.

These ten days have been about Dexter fucking countless girls even in my presence and I hated it so much damn, but according to the contract, I couldn’t have a problem with it,

I was meant to accept it without meddling in his affairs, but it was so damn hard.

The sound of the doorknob made me realize that the doctor was finally here,

I fluttered my brows as she walked right in and smiled, but when I saw the sad look on her face, my smile immediately faded.
