“Open it!” Maurice ordered his men.

Following Maurice’s order, the bodyguards immediately stepped forward and untied the bag, revealingthe man inside, tightly bound.

It was none other than Rutherford!

Rutherford was stunned by the question and didn’t know what to answer. He was just a goon thebigwigs paid to do their dirty jobs. How could he know so much?

Rutherford explained helplessly, “Mr. Moran, I’m just paid with money to do things. Mr. Bowman didn’ttell me anything. Oh, I remember! He had asked me to get a woman named Eliana Pierce. That womanwas as cunning as a fox and I wasn’t able to get her. It was only after that that Mr. Bowman asked meto kidnap her two children.
