Meanwhile, Xalvador was waiting at a valley that was covered in a thick mist located in the far north of the Terythor Universe.

The man seemed anxious as he kept checking outside for something or someone to show up.

A handsome man in a white robe walked up to him from behind. "Do you honestly think he'll come, Xalvador?"

"Of course." Xalvador replied firmly, "The problem is how long will it take for him to take care of things in the Terythor Universe.

"Both Maria and Salim are top-rank cultivators. They also have Dorvus Hosentia and the Marauder Army on their side. It's too risky for him to go alone..."

"So, you're not entirely sure either?" The handsome man said in a slightly mocking tone, "I just don't get it. Why do Lord Goyo and you have such high expectations for a mere living being?"

Xalvador turned around and studied the man's face. "Fausto, do you know anything about him? Have you heard of the amazing stories surrounding him?"

The handsome man, Fausto Florres, had a look of disdain on his face." Should I bother myself with learning about a nobody?"

Xalvador shook his head in resignation. He could not see the point in explaining to Fausto, who displayed this sort of attitude. He was once just like the snobbish and conceited Fausto.

In their opinion, the weak and unremarkable living beings did not deserve to share the Haleth Realm with the Alcide beings. Even if they were to coexist, the Alcide beings should have full rights in deciding the living beings' fate. However, Xalvador changed his mind completely after meeting James. From what he had seen, Xalvador came to a shocking conclusion.

If the living beings had sufficient cultivation resources and training, they could eventually overpower the Alcide beings and even get rid of them permanently. Suddenly, there was the sound of a bird's call echoing through the valley. A gigantic bird whose body was surrounded by purplish-gold flames descended from the sky.

The bird glowed with a purplish-gold light as it transformed into a beautiful lady wearing a colorful robe.

"Yvelle, how many times do we need to remind you that we need to stay inconspicuous?" Fausto lectured her. "Are you not aware of the current situation we are in?"

Yvelle Chaime, the beautiful lady, let out a snort. Then, she greeted Xalvador, "Sir Xalvador, I've checked the perimeters and found no signs of life." Xalvador furrowed his brows. "Is he having trouble settling things back there?" "I told you not to get your hopes up." Fausto looked at Xalvador. "Even we are no match for Maria and Salim, who have received the powers of the Nothingness Dead Energy from Xanthakos.

"What can James Caden, a mere living being, do while facing those two?

Xalvador's expression darkened. "Fausto, stop calling him that. At some point, you're going to regret having said that."

Fausto paused briefly and burst out laughing.

Xalvador and Yvelle frowned as they could hear the hint of mockery and ridicule in his laughter.

Fausto finally stopped laughing a while later. "Xalvador, are you intimidated by that living being because he's managed to seize control of the Terythor Universe for the time being?

"It wasn't your fault we lost the Terythor Universe. It was all because of Xanthakos' schemes.

"Besides, James Caden is nothing more than one of Xanthakos' servants. Why do you keep putting yourself below him?"

Xalvador was flabbergasted. "You can't..."

"The living beings are the lowest among us. That is their fate." Fausto grinned contemptuously.

"Even if they have the upper hand now, it won't last long. These fools will fall and be exterminated sooner or later."

Upon hearing those remarks, Xalvador balled his fists.

He had received great help from James previously. Therefore, it was painful for him to listen to a fellow sect member talk about James in that way.
