Chapter 7623

Hetsema, having absorbed all the powers from the past realm, now had a face that continuously morphed, embodying the full spectrum of emotions- joy, anger, sorrow, love, hate, and desire. He was no longer the ambitious but powerless Hetsema of old. He had become a genuine undying fiend.

"Say something, James! You're scaring me." Thea clung tightly to James' hand, her anxiety peaking.

In the next moment, James raised his hand, and a divine amethyst-gold Sword Light shot out.

Boom!

Hetsema was instantly blown to pieces by the Sword Light. However, immediately afterward, the fragments and countless black energies gathered to form two Hetsemas.

One cried and roared with rage while the other laughed sinisterly, exuding terror. Then, between the two Hetsemas, dozens of radiant, multicolored lights suddenly appeared, manifesting into numerous familiar yet indistinct figures.

James and Thea sensed the danger.

The enraged Hetsema grabbed one of the figures, revealing Xainte's appearance.

Hetsema held Xainte by her hair. Her expression was defiant, but some mysterious force immobilized her.

"Xainte!" Thea lost control at the sight.

James pulled her back, his brow tightly furrowed. "Don't go. It's a trap."

Hetsema roared, "Is this how you treat your son, Dad? Since you disregard our bond, don't blame me for being ruthless. Look, it's one of your most beloved children, Xainte. She's one of Jademora Empire's Thirteen War Kings, right? Surprise! She fell into my hands!"

Thea shouted furiously, "You're a beast, Hetsema! That's your sister!"

Hetsema sneered, "Sister, you say? Among them, I was always the outcast, never respected, never considered a brother."

He then pointed condescendingly at James and Thea. "Watch closely Since my father is heartless toward me and tried to kill me, you can't blame me for retaliating in kind."

Suddenly, he took out a sharp dagger and held it against Xainte's throat.

“No, you can't!” Thea was in despair. Though she knew it was an illusion, she couldn't endure the emotional and mental torment.

Meanwhile, James remained cold and composed, tightly holding Thea as he watched the scene unfold.

Hetsema shouted, "Listen carefully,

James. Each time you kill me, I'll kill one of your children. If that's not enough, your loyal friends will also accompany them in death. 10 guarantee you'll enjoy the show."

With a swift motion, Hetsema's dagger slit Xainte's throat.

Thea's mentality was utterly shattered as Xainte's body fell from the void after being released.
