I learnt the truth about wolves that night. Strength was the ultimate thing. Wolves respected strength. Only the strong ruled, that was the rule. You wouldn't know I was the same guy that was being tortured helplessly earlier on.

I staggered to the torture room since I was injured in the fight, I didn't know if Eric would return but I doubted it. Unless he was prepared to fight me again. No one spoke when I entered the room, they kept their heads down.

I stared at Paul who obediently got chained, he didn't even dare look at me. The guards likewise didn't even dare to breathe. Victoria and her mom had their heads down . I felt like I had fought enough, I had no hard feelings for these men. Turns out I only needed to fight, not avenge myself.

I casually sat on the table and contemplated on my next course of action. I didn't feel like lashing Paul at all or punishing the three men.

" Unchain him" I said . Everyone looked up suprised

".... Before I change my mind" I added placing my head between my arms.

"Place this beta in the dungeons.."

"..... then have my car brought over, I leave tomorrow morning" I said laying on the table. I really felt tired.

" Paul ?......clean the mess up there" I just couldn't let him go without some punishment.

Everyone left but I still felt the presence of someone in the room.

" I need some time alone" I grumbled at whoever was there.

" You are hurt.... I can help"

I opened my eyes and stared at Victoria's mom.

"It's just a scratch" I tried to smile

" It looks nasty to me.... Unless you want your guardians to start asking questions tomorrow"

She was kinda right so I nodded at her. She cleaned it then bandaged it before she left.

I fell asleep on the table .
