The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna Chapter 86
Chapter 86
Earlier, Alpha Nick managed to catch up to his mother, but Athena was already tired, so they could not talk around the borders where she went for a walk. The view there was
breathtaking due to the royal palms she had planted all along the border. It was very peaceful and serene when she strolled around there.
“Mom, we have to talk. It’s about Sheila,” Alpha Nick yelled from a distance, trotting towards Athena and Tedmond.
There was no one around, as that place was Athena’s special area, so Alpha Nick did not have to take caution of whether or not somebody was listening to him. Tedmond was upset to hear Sheila’s name.
“Forget that woman,” he said in annoyance. Alpha Nick shook his head. It was all his fault that his father still felt bad about Sheila.
“Dad, you won’t understand. Sheila stole something precious from me,” he said seriously, hugging his mother.
His neatly tucked–in shirt was wet with sweat due to the vigorous activity of running all the way to meet up with his parents like he was mad, not caring what his pack members and warriors thought about him.
“I knew it. The low life…”
“Don’t you dare use that word on her, or you’ll have to disown me,” Alpha Nick pulled away from his mother, cutting his father off daringly. Tedmond was unremorseful, firing again.
“You just called her a thief.”
“I meant she stole my heart,” Alpha Nick corrected him with an annoyed look. If he had not treated Sheila the way he did before, his father would not have been talking about her this way, but Athena realized something.
“Nick, you are in love with her?” She looked joyful at the transformation of her son. Alpha Nick did not hide it anymore, feeling ashamed for doing so before.
“Yes, mom, and I need your help. Please forgive me for everything,” he said sincerely. No matter how Athena wanted to punish him before, his owning up to his mistakes warmed her heart, and she softened.
“Let’s go to my room then.”
Tedmond was not happy about this. Alpha Nick’s mate was in the pack house, so how could he be in love with another woman?

Chapter 86
“Nick. You should have added that she equally stole your brain.”
Alpha Nick turned to his father and spoke in a serious tone. It was time to make him realize who he was messing with. Sheila was not the orphan they all thought, and his speaking about her like that could be carried by someone to the Alpha King.
“Dad, she is the Alpha King’s only daughter. The CEO of Shelly’s Couture and Glamour. Do you to know more? She’s a former car racer and a model.”
Tedmond was seeing stars upon listening to his son’s words. How could it be possible? Sheila stayed in the pack house like a dummy. If she had such skills, then she would not have sold herself so cheap.
“Hold on, which Sheila are we talking about?” It probably could not be that ex–contract, Luna. Alpha Nick carried his father’s guilt on his shoulders, unable to blame him.
“The same one who lived in this pack like an orphan.”
Athena was offended by Alpha Nick’s choice of words. They must have all not been there for her, but she was. “I was her mother here. She was never an orphan. Let’s go.”
Her interest in Alpha Nick escalated from the way he stood up for Sheila. This is what he should have done a long time ago and continued doing.
“I’m coming too,” Tedmond followed them, not believing that Sheila was the Alpha King’s daughter. Perhaps, she was trying to make them feel guilty by impersonating the Alpha King’s prodigal daughter.
When they reached the pack house and began to walk up the stairs, they were amazed when Tom’s door opened, but instead of Tom, it was Charlotte who stepped out of it.
“What were you doing there?” Alpha Nick asked in a cold gaze.
Charlotte was panic–stricken, her mind went blank, but she quickly thought about something and began to accuse him to make him guilty. That was how she usually won his sympathy.
“You don’t have time for me. Tom is the only one who helps me to train. He stands up for me when I’m bullied by the pack members because of my weakness. Are you going to blame me for going to check on him since I never saw him after the attack?”
Alpha Nick’s lips curled up into a mocking smile. He did not have the time to waste on a fool. Recalling how he treated Sheila, he could not be at peace without allowing her to exert her own revenge on Charlotte.
“I only asked what you were doing there. I never blamed you for anything. Your thoughts must be so rotten,” he said with disgust, then grabbing hold of his mother’s arm. “Mom, let’s go.”
Charlotte had a depressed look on her face, wondering if he meant the words he just said. Before Alpha Nick entered his parent’s room, Bree ran up to them.
“Nick, how did it go?”
Alpha Nick turned around to see Charlotte staring at him with pain in her eyes. It was just the beginning of how she was going to pay for what she did and as well as made him do to Sheila.
He pushed Bree inside his parent’s room and locked the door. “Do you even know how to keep a secret?” Alpha Nick chastised his sister. Bree’s expression turned apologetic.
“Sorry. I was too excited. I thought I’d see you with Sheila, and I could apologize to her.”
“Am I missing something?” Tedmond asked seriously, surprised that even Bree of all people had been bought over. It was as if he had been kept in the dark for a very long time. Alpha Nick sighed and told him everything.
“Charlotte has been cheating on me with Tom, but don’t worry. I have everything under control.”
Alpha Nick’s expression was so calm that Tedmond refused to believe it. “Nick, that is your mate you are accusing,” he pointed out. Bree was more concerned about how things went with Sheila and asked again.
“Nick, where is Sheila?”
Alpha Nick helplessly explained. “I’m sorry Bree, but she left. Tell Dustin to release the rogues. Sheila sent them to distract me.”
The smile on Bree’s face froze, her expression dulled instantly. “I am not having my birthday party without Sheila,” she said seriously and ran out of the room.
After Bree left with a sorrowful expression, his mother asked, “Nick, don’t lie to me. What is going on?”
Alpha Nick spoke in a depressed tone, feeling like Sheila was testing him. If that was the case, he was determined to not disappoint her this time.
“I should have believed you. I want Sheila back, but she left her pack again. Can you contact her?”
Athena found it hard to deny her son anything when he was like this. She picked up her phone, but before dialing Sheila’s number, something cropped up in her mind, and she asked seriously,
“Tell me one thing. Have you slept with her?”
Alpha took a deep breath, sat on his parent’s bed, and began to explain. “It was at the gala awards night. We were both drugged.”
Athena shook her head. As a wise woman, she quickly discerned everything. “Then I see why she ran away.”
Alpha Nick looked lost, asking, “Why?”
“She’s pregnant,” Athena announced. She knew that Sheila was not afraid of Alpha Nick. For her to leave her pack because of him could only be because she had something that mutually belonged to him. “Sheila would not run away if she’s not hiding something.”
“Sheila? Pregnant? With my child?” Alpha Nick was pale.
