Chapter Thirty-One

Rosalyn's POVSitting in my room my eyes are watching alessandro and his friends pack but my mind is full withrecollections of what took place today.Firstly i still can't believe it my baby boy is back. After all this time i thought I'd never see him again.I honestly thought I was hallucinating when i heard his voice begging me to wake up it sounded faraway at first but then it became louder and i opened my eyes thinking it was a dream. When i felt ahand on me i thought it was jermain but then his scent flooded my nose and i looked up and sawhim. The first thing that came to my mind was that i hadn't woken up and was still dreaming or itwas the lack of nutrients making me hallucinate. But when i heard his voice telling me he was real apart of me was hesitant but i was still hoping what i saw was real and when he held on to my handsand i felt him, the countless emotions that took over had me bursting into tears. It was the mostjoyous moment of my life next to when i gave birth.However, i noticed something was extremely different about him and when althea confirmed mysuspicions i had my answer. The evidence was all their in his eyes, his aura and mostly in his scent. Icould smell the disappointment coming off him in waves he was disappointed in himself for doingsomething so reckless. I could also sense the change in his wolf, it was no longer the wolf he hadbefore, it change, evolved into something else, something dark but powerful.I knew what this meant it was already foretold. I read those reports that they had on alessandrowhen he was with the council so i know what is happening to him and i know that they'll come forhim now that he has awakened. This final transformation whatever it is will determine his fate, i haveno idea what the council is up to but i do know that more than anything they want him to transformand regardless of their kill order they are scientists at heart with a yearning to see their experimentthrough but I'd kill every living being on this earth before i let anyone take my baby. Now that Al isback i am determined to get my strength back because he cannot fight these battles that are sureto come his way alone.The next thing that had my mind reeling was jermaine. I'd finally taken everyone's advice and madeup with him. Our conversation still fresh in my mindFlashbackAlessandro, his friends, dad and i were all in the room catching up when someone knocks on thedoor before opening it and walking in. When we broke away from the kiss jermaine wrappedhis arms around me and we just stood their relishing in each other's embrace. Finally i could havemy happy ending.A few minutes later we decided to head to the back yard since everyone was most likely waiting onus

Walking towards the front centre of the stage hebegins to address the crowd"Hello everyone. I have called this pack meeting today to discuss a few important things thathappened over the past six months. I may hate him but I'm not heartless he's an alpha and his pride is all heseems to have left and loosing that in front his pack the people he’s suppose to lead would be hisundoing.He looked at me in surprise before covering it with an emotionless face. I walked upto her and pulled her into a warm hug, finally she could be free. We then turned out attention tojermaine who was busy slowing torturing kevin. I saw him break a few of his bones causing Kevin toscream out in agony then he took the syringe which had earlier held the poison he injected kevinwith and pushed the needle inside his father's left eye. He then repeated this action with the righteye then both his ears, i had to say watching that gave me chills and i made a mental note never topiss jermaine off.When he was finished he then took out a pocket knife and slit Kevin's throat as we all watch himbleed out until he was dead. Knowing that man is a tricky bastard and walked over to him andripped his head off just for good measure, don't want him coming back from the dead now do we.Mom sighed walking over and hugged from behind, resting her head on his back she says "its finallyover"Jermaine turned in her arms smiling before he responds with "yes it is” then kissed herThey stood there sucking faces for a few seconds before i couldn't take it any more and yell * myeyes my poor delicate eyes. Come on you guys ain't nobody wants to see that" making them breakaway and started laughingAfter our laughter quieted down i looked at all my family members and said "its sundown guys letsleave this place and go home"They all nodded and we turned and started walking away. I reached the steps before ke'shaun’svoice stops me saying"Alessandro wait"The when i turned around the sight before me made my wolf go mad with rage and all hell brokeloose.
