Chapter 16

Skylar's POV

I woke up this morning feeling very off and weird next thing I know Iran to the bathroom and vomited everything that was in my system. Iwiped my mouth, flushed the toilet and brushed my teeth beforethrowing on some black sweats, a black t-shirt, and some fuzzy socksbefore I climbed back into bed. About 10 minutes late Jace walked inwith a tray of food on it, he brings it over to me and sits beside me onthe bed as I grab a piece of toast and nibble on it. Seeing me justnibbling on some toast Jace scrunches up his face in confusion.

"You feeling alright darling?” He asked me looking very concerned

“I'll be fine just woke up feeling a little nauseous” I tell him while I finishmy second piece of toast and wash it down with some orange juice.After Jace finished off the rest of the food and his coffee he put the trayon the nightstand and looked at me.

“I got something to talk to you about” he told me looking very nervous.“Okaii you can tell me anything baby don't be nervous I'm not going toget mad or anything” I tell him reassuringly. He takes a few deepbreaths and sighs before finally telling me what was on his mind.

“Okaii well last night after I fell asleep the moon goddess visited me inmy dreams and she told me not to under estimate out opponent. Shealso told me that the full moon was approaching and that I shouldmake sure that you and I were prepared for it because the night of thefull moon is the night we both go through our transformations since wecompleted the mating process. She also told me that I will transformfirst when the moon reaches it's apex and then you will transform after Ido and I have to tell you what she told me that it would be painful andso you are the only one who can help me through it and I am the onlyone who can help you through yours otherwise we could die from it,but I know me and you will pull through we are strong. I love you babyand I promise I will never ever keep anything from you ever.” Jace tellsme and as I sit there watching him processing everything that he justtold me.

“I love you too babe and we will make a plan and make sure we areprepared for the full moon with everything and anything we mightneed. Also do you think that's why I got sick when I woke up becausewe are close to transforming?” I ask him curiously

“It's a possibility baby, don't worry about anything I already have a planso I just want you to relax and build up your strength for the full moonalright.” He says placing his hand on my cheek and passionately kissingme on the lips and I waste no time kissing him back before we get upand go for a run and do some light training

***Three Weeks Later***

Jace's POV

It's been about 3 weeks since my dream with the moon goddess whichmeans that the full moon is tomorrow and just like I told Skylar I hadplanned ahead and I had everything ready for it, I even got the twins toagree to be there to help us out after everything knowing that we bothwere going to exhausted. Which is why I talked to that idiot alphaSpencer to see if I could use the cabin that was about an hour awayseeing as they don't really ever use it. He agreed reluctantly and so nowall I have to do is pack up things for Skylar and I and make sure that thetwins did everything I asked them to do and make sure they werepacked and ready to go as well. Now all that's really left is to tell Skylarand then get loaded up and head out for 2 weeks of fun, relaxation andlearning to control our powers.

"Jasper, Alex did you guys go and get the cabin ready?” I mind linkthem

"Yes Alpha" they say in unison

"We are also packed and already at the cabin. We put our stuff awayplus everything you asked us to do and we are just waiting for you andSkylar to get here" Jasper says back through the link

"Kay we will be there in about 2 hours. I will mind link you guys whenSky and I are about 20 minutes away from the cabin.” I say to themthrough the mind link before blocking them off. As I go to our room Isee Skylar laying on the bed reading a book with headphones in herears which means she can't hear me or see me which makes me smile. Iwalk up to her and start to tickle her sides.

"AHHH JACE STOP IT!" Sky yell at me through her bouts of laughter."Jeez you scared the shit out of me you asshat” she says to me after shecatches her breath putting her book and headphones away.

"I'm sorry love I saw you couldn't see or hear me so I couldn't resistmyself" I say

kissing her cheek.

"Now everything is all set up and ready, the twins got the cabin readyfor us and they are also settled in there as well as some addedprotection. They are already there and waiting for us to pack up ourthings for the next two weeks and head over." I inform her as I head tothe closet to grab our suitcases and place them out on the bed. Half anhour later and we had finally finished packing our things as we bringour stuff downstairs and put them into the trunk of Sky's red rangerover, then we climb in and head out towards the cabin.

"Skylar and I are about 20 minutes away from the cabin guys" I mindlink Jasper and Alex

"Okay boss the doors are open we got a little bored waiting around forthe two of you and decided to go for a run, we should be back shortlyafter you guys arrive.” I heard Alex say through the mind link. I smileand shake my head at them as I glance at Skylar who is currentlynapping in the passenger seat. Once we arrive at the cabin I get outand grab our belongings and bring them into the cabin and place themin the room me and Skylar will be staying in when I hear the twins walkin the front door.

"Hey man you know your mate's still passed out in the car” Jaspersmirks at me.

"Yeah I know I just finished bringing our stuff in and I was just about togo and get her." I tell them when they look at each other and grin ateach other before running out the door to go and scare the hell out ofmy mate, which they are going to regret but I don't stop them instead Istand in the doorway and watch everything unfold. I watch them slowlyand quietly walk up to the car and then open her door as quietly asthey can before they yell and scare the shit out of Skylar.

"WAKEY WAKEY LUNA!" the twins scream at Skylar

"AHHHHHHHH WHAT THE FUCK GUYS" Skylar wakes up screaming atthe twins who are now rolling around on the ground laughing theirasses off and I was laughing too I had to admit it was pretty funny. Skyon the other hand didn't feel it was all that funny and got out of the carglaring at them.

"You guys nearly gave me a heart attack and mark my words I will getyou both back for this when you least expect it" She says to them withan evil smile which made them stop laughing immediately. I felt a littlebit bad for them "cause they actually looked a little scared which mademe laugh at them even more, I knew not to mess with her but the twinson the other hand love to play pranks on her and she loves doing itback to them even though they sometimes don't like the way she getsthem back but it really is funny when she does she has a very creativemind that I love.
