The Alpha's Unwanted Mate
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 100 Book 2 Chapter 32

Celeste’s steps were reluctant as she walked up to the opening of the cave, her heart palpitating with too much speed, her mind in a puddle.

She felt like turning back…like waiting until she calmed down before approaching him…but the matebond was far from having that.

It was so strong that Celeste found it hard to not continue stepping forward, but regardless of the matebond, there was her nervousness…

With each step she took, her legs weakly shook like they were leaves and her heart was the same. It kept trembling in anticipation and in fear, but it was too late for that…she had already entered and Zillon who sat in the corner of the cave already had his dark, obsidian eyes on her.

“Celeste…?” He asked, his voice as coarse and gentle as ever.

Celeste stopped in her tracks, her eyes dropping to the rocky bottom of the cave. “Y-yes…?”

“Why are you here?”

“I…I…well I-are you angry at me? I’m sorry…I didn’t mean what I said…any of it…I was just I…” Celeste bit her lips, her hand gripping the bracelet tighter.

“You’re stuttering too much…” Zillon stood from his sitting position and didn’t hesitate to walk over to her. “I’m not angry at you, you don’t have to stutter…you don’t have to be afraid.”

He tucked her swaying blond hair behind her ears, then lifted her head. “Now what were you saying?”

As red as a tomato, Celeste looked up at him, her heart fluttering like the wings of a bird when she noticed that there was nothing but a flourishing love in his dark eyes…

“I…I…” She bit her lips. “I choose you…I want you, not him…I… I’m sorry and I…”

“And you..?” Zillon curiously inquired.

“A-And I want you…”

He chuckled, the sound almost unfamiliar because of how long she hadn’t heard it. “You said that already, Celeste.”

“I…ummm…” Celeste bit her lips, feeling embarrassed. “I’m sorry though…”

“I know and I’m sorry for walking out on you not much long ago. I shouldn’t have done it.” He looked towards the mark on her neck, sighing. “I was angry and the fact that I was wrong made me even angrier. I didn’t want to blow up on you, I didn’t want you to hate me more, so I left…”

“I deserved it, I was being mean…I should’ve known it hurt, I should’ve trusted you…I deserved it.”

“You don’t deserve any of the bad things that have happened to you. Your heart is too pure for pain, angels were meant to be cherished, not tortured… You were made for heaven and yet I gave you hell, I’m sorry for that, for making you think you deserve to be treated like sh*t when you’re the slightly bit wrong. You shouldn’t have chosen me, I honestly thought you wouldn’t, but the fact that you did means that you believe that I can change, that I can do better and for you, I will.”

His large, calloused hand cupped her cheek, his thumb caressing her soft skin. “You’ll see…you won’t ever regret choosing me.”

Celeste’s heart that had fluttered one too many times already fluttered again, her eyes dropping to his beautiful pink lips. “You’re right, I won’t ever regret my choice just like you lived to not regret yours.”

She tipped up on her toes, for the time in her life taking something from Zillon that he hadn’t given to her. Her lips caught his, her hands gripping at his shoulder as she kissed him.

Zillon remained stunned only for a second before kissing her back; passionately, with so much energy, so much love. His free hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer against him…

His crumbled heart was now garnering and pride flowed through him as though it was what kept him alive. He couldn’t believe it, she was his again, and this time she was going to be his forever.

He would make sure she never cried because of him again…well not unless he was issuing her too much pleasure; brutally f*cking into her even when she’s sensitive all over.

That was the only time she was suppose to cry…ohh and when she was giving birth to his pups… Involuntarily, his hand moved towards her stomach, running over it…even if Xavier lied about her pregnancy, she’d be swelled up soon, he’d make sure of it.

Pulling away from the k**s so they both could catch their breaths, he looked down at her, replaceing nothing but want in her beautiful blue eyes…

“I…I’m…” She gripped his shoulder tighter and Zillon knew just what she wanted. “I’m… I’m—”

“You’re wet, aren’t you?” Zillon inhaled the air around him, noting how dense her scent made it. It was so strong that Zillon was sure the whole pack could smell it if they were focused enough.

Celeste buried her head against his chest with a reluctant nod. “Y-yes…”

“Then how about I make love to you in the very place we began?”

And even if Celeste could say no, she wouldn’t.
