The Alpha's Unwanted Mate
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 14

He walked over to the bed, placing her down on the soft matress. His eyes ran over her na.ked form as he unbuttoned his shirt. “I’ll try my very best to make you feel better.”

Celeste’s legs trembled at his words, her eyes glistening with the l**t that came along with her heat. Was he going to…?

The shirt fell to the floor and despite trying to, Celeste couldn’t hold back the m0an of desperation that climbed up her throat. He was hot, his pecs, his abs and even the dark look in his eyes.

His hands latched onto the sides of his shorts, pulling them down his muscular thighs. Celeste was dumbfounded, lost in his beauty. He hadn’t even touched her yet and her poor legs were shaking. The heat, it was rising; undoubtedly yet involuntarily making her crave him more.

With hands that could barely move, she reached out for him. “A-Alpha pl…please.”

Zillon tilted his head, now standing before her in nothing but his underwear. “The elders said you’d be desperate too, was that why you cried two nights ago? Was it that you wanted me to touch you?”

Celeste nodded enthusiastically. “I…I was dying for y-you to touch me.”

“Then for the sake of the heat and only the heat, I shall touch you.”

He climbed onto the bed, settling beside her. His arm; thick and warm hesitantly locked around her waist, pulling her against his ch.est. “Is this enough? It should be, I mean I am almost na.ked after all and I am touching you.”

Celeste looked up at him with eyes of surprise, all her hope gone down the drain. Was this what he meant by touch? Was this really what he meant…?

All along she thought his ‘touch’ meant to mate, but then again, it was Zillon that they were talking about, would he really mate her?

A sigh escaped her l!ps as she thought about it. He wouldn’t, she knew… But the fact that his arms were around her made her feel warm, feel safe.

Sure she wanted more than just his embrace, but this was okay. It seems that Zillon really thought mere physical contact could subdue the heat. It couldn’t, but Celeste couldn’t bear to tell him.

He was trying to help her…Zillon; her love, her mate was trying his best to prevent the loss of her consciousness, she wouldn’t push him, this was enough, even if she was still suffering.

“Do you feel better now?”

Celeste nodded, squeezing her legs tighter together when the slick she kept producing soaked her thighs. “Y…Yes, you’re warm, it’s nice.”

“Please bear in mind that this is only to stop your heat. This means nothing…”

Celeste’s heartbeat buffered, her eyes drifting down to peer at his thick, muscular ch.est. “I know…”

And while she voiced those words, tears graced her eyes. She knew, but she didn’t care. She could pretend it meant something, pretend that he cared.

Wrapping her arms around him, she pushed even closer to his ch.est, using it to wipe away the tears under her eyes. She could feel the fire in the pit of her stomach and feel the painful crave between her legs. She wanted more from him, he wasn’t touching what she really wanted him to, but how would s—

“Are you crying?”

Celeste shook her head immediately. “No, I’m n—”

“Then whats that smell?”

He pushed away from her, distancing himself enough to get a look at her face. Celeste kept her eyes down as he assessed her, not wanting to face him after lying.

“But you are crying. Is it the heat? Am I not close enough?”

Celeste shook her head again. “No, that’s not i—”

“Do not lie. I smell your tears, your slick, even your agony —that I was trying so bad to ignore— is prominent to my eyes and nose. I feel every move of discomfort you make. Is physical contact not enough? Tell the truth, is the heat still torturous?”

Celeste contemplated it hard before nodding. “I…It’s not enough…it’s worst…”

“Worst?”

“I…I want you more now, the closeness of your body keeps coaxing the heat to grow. It’s making this harder…”

“Then how?”

Celeste cleared her throat, finally replaceing the courage to look him in the eyes. “By mating me, it…it seems —as the elders said— that’s the only way.”

Zillon pushed further away from her, almost falling off the bed. “I will not.”

He pushed her arm from around him, shuffling straight off the bed. “I knew this would happen, you’ve tried already, but your seduction will not work.”

He attempted to walk away, but a whimper from Celeste stopped him. “Pl…please Zillon…”

Tears glistened in her bright, blue eyes, her fingers latching tightly to the sheets. “I-I…”

She whimpered again, squeezing her legs together.

Zillon looked away, swallowing what saliva had lodged at his throat. The way her l!ps sat seductively between her teeth was tempting, her beauty, the perfection of her body and her scent that mercilessly engulfed him…everything called out to him.

But he couldn’t give in, he already had Celia, she was here first, she owned his heart. All the time before now, it was her…she had cooked him food, showed him love and been there for him when he had problems.

She was like a safe haven to him, and though Celeste was his mate, he couldn’t just leave Celia in favor of her. It wasn’t right, it could never be….

But would this count as betraying Celia?

Celeste was in pain, it was obvious that she was suffering. She stooped as low as to beg and if she ended up mad, would he still have the right to call himself alpha?

Gritting his teeth, he turned back to face her. “Alright, I’ll mate you, but this will mean nothing… tomorrow you’ll wake up and pretend as though it didn’t even happen.”

A/N// Uhh…so this happened, you finally got a peek of Zillon’s POV. Does he sound evil?
