The Alpha's Unwanted Mate
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 142 Book 2 Chapter 74

“Hey, do you think Celia will ever come back, I know she’s alive or rather that’s what I keep telling myself…but when will she come back? We were enemies for more than five years and when the issue between us finally resolved, she left? I don’t understand it, I want to, but I can’t. Do you think she’s with her mate; with Xavier?”

Zillon rubbed his eyes and looked over at Celeste, another month had passed and though she had seemed okay throughout it all, he knew she wasn’t…but now he was glad that she was opening up about this topic once again. “I thought we were over this, Kitten…but since we’re apparently not, I’m glad you woke me up, what time is it by the way?”

“About 3… In the morning.” Celeste grumbled, staring up at him with those sad blue eyes.

“I don’t know where she is, but you said it before, you said she always had a reason for doing things, you said that whatever it is that she does…it was always to benefit her. Trust her, Celeste… she probably left in order to be happy.”

“You think so?”

“Yes baby…stop worrying, stop being sad, Celia will come see you one day…you’ll see.”

Celeste nodded, resting her forehead against his chest. “I hope so and I hope Xavier and her will be as happy as I am with you. They both deserve each other, they both deserve happiness.”

“I know and they’ll replace it in each other, they were bonded for a reason, you’re the one said so, right?”

“Yeah, the moon goddess makes no mistake, if they are mates, then they are truly meant to be.”

“Then no more worrying, right?”

“No more…”

“Sleep?”

“Sleep.”

“Then goodnig—”

“I’m hungry though…”

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Celeste chuckled, those words have started to leave his lips often now. “I’m not…”

Zillon g*****d, throwing the sheets from over his body. “What do you want then?”

“Your lips!”

A look that asked ‘Really?’ covered Zillon’s face and it didn’t disappear even as he responded. “Go to sleep, Celeste.”

Celeste shook her head, watching as he squinted at her. “You’re such a smooth talker though, who taught you?”

“Well I’d say…I learnt from Gabriel. He knew just how to sweet talk his mate out of being mad at him.”

“I thought you’d say me, aren’t I a sweet talker too?”

“Not really…all you do is k**s my forehead or hug me when I’m mad.”

“I call you Kitten too…”

“Oh right, totally forgot about that.”

Zillon grabbed the sheets, pulling it back over him. “Are you sure you’re not hungry though?”

“I was just jok—” Celeste gasped, looking down at her stomach. “They’re kicking again.”

“My little warriors are fighting again?” Zillon lifted up the shirt she wore, his hand feeling for movement until Celeste directed it.

“Here.”

“So strong already…what the f*ck are they doing in there?”

“I don’t kno—”

A sudden pain rendered Celeste speechless and she found herself gritting her teeth and grabbing painfully hard onto the sheets. “I-It hurts…”

“What does?” Zillon asked, worry in his voice.

Celeste twisted against the bed, a grunt slipping off of her lips. “My stomach…there’s pain… there’s…”

Zillon sat up. “What date did that stupid doctor give you?”

“Sometime next week.”

“Holy f*ck…” Zillon shuffled off the bed, running his hand through his hair. “Those two are devil’s already…it’s two in the f*cking morning!”

He walked over to the closet, pulling out a shorts and putting it on over his underwear. “I don’t know what’s going on, but I have to take you to the pack doctor.”

He walked back over to the bed. “Is it painful? Can you walk?”

Celeste nodded. “Yes.” She grunted as she sat up, her hand situated on her stomach. “The pain seems bearable, I’m just worried about them…it felt…It felt heavier.”

“I don’t understand, what felt heavier?” He helped her to her feet and mindlinked his best men…it was three in the morning, but they were responsible for this just as much as he was…or not?

He didn’t think there were any complications. The doctor said they were healthy a week ago and he had been kind enough to warn Zillon off. He told him to be prepared to take her over anytime the pain hits because her labour was not far…what if she was going to go into labour now?

Holy f*ck!

Zillon was nervous; for himself and for Celeste. He heard stories about this, especially from his parents…Celine would tell him just how hard and painful it was to give birth to him, Gregory —though Zillon hated to even say his name— told him about the horrifying screams and all the profanities Celine had thrown at him…

In the end, the doctor had to send him out, for instead of focusing on pushing out the freaking baby, she was focused on telling her mate about how much of an evil man he was.

Celeste wouldn’t do that, he was sure…but he knew she’d scream, he knew she’d cry and he’d be so heart broken.

But if it is that she was really going into labour…then he hoped everything would turn out fine; for both her and his babies.
