The Alpha's Unwanted Mate
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 40

Zillon woke up to Celeste wrapped securely in his arms. The shirt she wore smelled just like him, but how could it not?

It was his.

Last night after showering, he had forced her into wearing it and when she had finally thrown it over her head, pride had filled his chest to the very brim.

Beneath it, she wore nothing but a pink panty that he had watched her put on, her legs and a fair portion of her thighs on full display.

It was a tempting sight, but he had managed to push back the sen.sual thoughts and focus on the fact that she was already worn out. He had been rough, he had fvcked her like he had never fvcked anyone before.

He had gripped her with the aim of never letting go and his h!ps had worked like an oiled-down engine. She had cried out, tried to get away, and yet still he had held her captive to the pleasure.

During that very moment he felt as though his stamina was endless, he had truly lost it, his rationality was not intact, but she had enjoyed that wild side of him and he was glad…

Glancing down at her, he sighed, brushing the loose strands of blond hair out of her beautiful face. She looked so peaceful while she slept, her halo was so bright over her head.

The steadiness of her heartbeat, the softness of her breath; both sounds was like music to his listening ears.

He could see it now; what he had refused to see before… This girl was indeed all he needed to lead this pack, one look at her and his pride would fly sky high. Before now, he had really loathed the moon goddess for mating her to him, but now, he was thankful.

After all, she was prettier than diamonds, more shinier than gold…her beauty was unparalleled, nothing could match up to it.

Her blue eyes outdid the colour that ran with the oceans…

Her red l!ps tasted even sweeter than cherries…

Her lashes; long and flawless just like the rest of her… She was created to please only him, even her shy personality made him happy.

What would he have done if he had lost her?

He’d probably be devasted, lost in a dark hole…

For you see, Celia had never once made his heart skip so much beats; she was beautiful, she was nice, she had the ability to rile him up, to calm him down, but still he had never deemed her so prescious and fragile as he did Celeste.

He had never wanted to protect her so bad, to secure her in his arms and never let go. Perhaps it was because she was a beta; someone strong enough to protect herself, or perhaps it was just that he didn’t care for her enough.

There was no bond for him to hold on to, nothing to grow their connection, and instead of severing it for somebody he could thrive with, he had foolishly held on.

His stupidity was what lead Celeste down a path that could kill her and now the guilt of being selfish, of openly and deliberately hurting her would follow him for the rest of his life.

He was aware of the fact that she forgave him, but he didn’t think he’d be able to forgive himself…

Sighing, he carefully unwrapped his arm from around her, then sat up in bed. He knew he didn’t deserve her, but she’d have to forgive him for being selfish once more because he would never let her go.

With determination in his thoughts, he rolled off the bed to brush his teeth, but stopped to look back at the bed when a hand grabbed onto his. “D-Don’t go…”

Zillon’s eyes met her now open ones with nothing but adoration. She looked even more angelic now than she did when she was asleep, her blue eyes…they lit up her whole damn face. “Why? Is there something wrong?”

Celeste shook her head, gripping his hand tighter. “It’s just… I-It’s just that you had left me alone in bed that time…”

Zillon’s heart broke into two, his guilt overpowering his pride. He remembered it too, that morning after he had taken her virginity with nothing but passion then woke up only to tell her that it meant nothing. That was what he regretted the most, it was probably still painful for her, she perhaps thought he’d do it again.

Sighing, he sat down beside her on the edge of the bed, once again brushing her hair out of her face. “Last night meant everything to me, the fact that you had trusted me enough to open your legs was enough to make me happy. Thank you.”

Celeste hid her face against him, appearing shy in Zillon’s eyes. “Then…then where are you going?”

“To the bathroom, I thought I’d brush my teeth before breakfast.”

“Oh…”

“Do you wanna come?”

Celeste nodded, finally raising her head to stare at him. “I’m sorry for doubting you.”

“That’s inevitable kitten, let’s go.”

He got up from the bed again and Celeste followed him as he walked out the door, the big shirt she wore hanging down on one shoulder and brushing with incessant against her bare thigh.

Her body was still weary from last night, she could walk properly now, but the s*x was so deep that she could still feel it in her c0re. That was okay though, she was glad that memories of last night was still with her body… memories of him.

She was also glad that this time he didn’t walk out on her, didn’t tell her that it meant nothing…she was right to trust him, he really was sincere.

Entering the bathroom door behind him, Celeste watched as he took her toothbrush from the mug on the sink, plastering it with toothpaste before passing it her.

She quickly took it and waited until he reached for his to start brushing her teeth. She wasn’t used to this yet; but soon, she’d be able to dwell around him without having a single doubt in mind.

A/N// I don’t think I have it in me to hate Zillon anymore. He’s a sweetheart too, he just needed to get his sh*t together😩
